I havent read anything about what the ump said after the game, but sometimes umps do that when the ball beats the runner, but whoever is covering the bag gets pulled off? Since the pitcher was running to cover first, is it possible that he thought the pitcher didn't get the bag? So he started the OUT call because the ball was there in time, but then went to safe?

I havent heard a single person say that, and if I did, I would ignore him/her. Seriously -- that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. You call him out if he's out. This guy may have the worst name in the business, and that MAY have been why I refused to give him a chance until a couple of weeks ago (not really, but it didn't help). The Wild Hunt is pretty stunning. I've got to admit it. Shame on me for not giving him a chance sooner. Took a couple of listens before it clicked, but it clicked. (Also, I understand the Dylan comparisons. Not sure that I'd MAKE any Dylan comparisons myself, but I at least understand them. I rarely even understand them (see Bright Eyes, etc)).

I think the point of this thread was to list examples of bands that you would like if they had a different singer. As in, you like the music, but not the vocals. Just sayin'. Or put another way, it's hard for me to believe that the person who mentioned Bob Dylan would be listening to "Tonnnnnnny Garnier on bassssss" if not for ol Bobby's vocals.

Rhapsody doesn't. I think itunes does. But itunes sorts by first name. As do most programs these days.

I wouldn't say that I am concerned with it, but I do think it is interesting how you continue to insist how black and white this issue is, and yet, this thread pretty much proves it isn't.
