I saw them at the Greek in LA a couple years ago (pit tix) and we danced our asses off. Yes it was crowded, but that didn't stop anyone.

I was giving an online training session when I happened to look behind me and had to seriously squelch the desire to blurt out "Holy Crap!!". I could not see anything outside the window, then had to turn around and keep going. The lights flickered a bit but the sirens didn't go off (like they did about a week ago) so I kept on with the presentation. Freaky.

Anyone else not yet gotten their presale tix? I'm getting slightly nervous. EDIT: "US Priority Mail - $6.50 Choosing US Priority Mail does NOT mean that your tickets will arrive in the next several days. Tickets will be shipped at least 10 business days (approximately 2 weeks) before the event date. If you have not received your tickets within 1 week of the event, please email tix@musictoday.com immediately." OK, so they should ship next week. I need to take a valium, apparently.

One can hardly sit at a Wilco show anyway -- makes dancing much less effective. GO FOR THE PIT!

Bess Truman's Ozark Pudding We ate this at Thanksgiving/Christmas when I was growing up -- and I have made it a couple of times since then. Use just plain heavy whipping cream and you will die happy.

According to Wilcobase, Too Far Apart was last played by the full band in July 2000. Too far apart indeed That set list looks fab. Glad to see you all had a great time -- and dreamin', that you got a night out

The feds really put the screws to him -- all of his pals had deserted him like rats off a ship. I hope he does time -- and lots of it.

Sometimes I worry that the panic attacks that I used to get will come back -- and be worse I worry that Jake will continue to manifest his cavalier attitude toward school work and my husband will continue to say its not a big deal I worry that I will keep over-commiting and then under-delivering in many facets of my life Edit: and I worry that Crazy Larry will go away again

I think that was the first wilco song I heard on the radio in what, '94 or '95? I loved it then and love it now. They played it in StL last time I was there (spring 06 I think) because Jeff's dad was there and he likes it. If jeff's dad goes to the Columbia MO show next month that would be the best shot, but is by no means guaranteed.

I think I'll skip it then.... I'm seeing them 3 times in September and it'll be hard to justify a 90 minute ride home on a Tuesday night. Plus, I'm traveling like 4 times in the next 6 weeks on business -- so far.

What's the venue like in Mil? Is it seated or GA? I looked at the Web site but couldn't tell.....

This was the last Koan (Kung-an in Korean) that I passed prior to my now 9 year hiatus. Someday, someday I will get back to it. Too bad I am shooting my Wilco wad in September
