It's interesting.... I have a 9 year-old and we have never left him alone. Now, I do go down to the laundry room for 15-20 minutes at a time and have left him alone for that long for 3-4 years now. TBH, I think he can handle longer stretches, but it will likely be a year or longer until we do -- HE's the one that needs to be comfortable. The fact that WWs kids were not is highly telling. Their feelings and sensibilities were not respected by WWs ex. WW, ignore this if you want, but you could tell your kids that if something like that happens again that they should call you when they don't feel

I was on there last night -- what a great idea. I suggested they put the ones they want to play on a big wheel of fortune a la Elvis Costello back in the day. I would think that they will cut this off by say Friday, then do some rehearsing. I imagine the soundchecks over the next few shows might give an indication of what they are thinking. Or this is just a big fat joke and they will play what the F they want

With young boys you are hell bound to go through a stage where little else is discussed. Case in point: my son renamed a game (Backyard Football) on our computer "poop". Also, if it is a good A.M., it is accompanied by a good B.M. Hence the double entendre.

She's in the kitchen with bitter diamond drunks (She's in the way) I'm on the sofa (I'm in the way) Hoping she leaves that punk cause I'm the boy with the poetry power I'm the boy, smells like flowers And every time I make a rhyme I live my life like I wasn't invited And then (and earlier): Candyfloss, she's a safe cracker She kissed me first, then broke in

NO WAY! TOM????

I have seen them there four times, and tbh, I think the place just swallows them up compared to smaller venues. I think their worst performance (imo) was the Katrina benefit in Nov 05. I have high hopes for Pritzker Pav.

I loved the State Palace Theatre in NO. Just looked around on Google and someone posted earlier this year that it had been shut down for fire code violations. It sustained some flood damage, but needs a big overhaul. Also that funky ballroom in Wichita was pretty cool. Of course, the Vic is wonderful, though I have seen them there only once. And anyone's living room Least favorite: Auditorium

Target. Everything you need without the bible thumping. Also, Jake is wearing his bible camp t-shirt today, and I thought of this thread.

OK, so a couple weeks ago I lobbed an email to BP, asking them to reconsider their decision to dump more chemicals into Lake Michigan. I got this last night:

So far, and I think I counted correctly, only one man has answered Miss Chris' post regarding the frequency unprotected sex in which they have knowingly indulged. I am keen to hear this.

Thank you ELF -- I just laughed my ass off.

Alcohol comes to mind. Bathtub gin killed many people when it wasn't regulated. I would venture to say that there are still illegal abortions performed in the US today, like when the legal deadline has passed to get one. Women (or men) that are desperate will resort to desperate measures. Rae Carruth for one....

Definitely do not lie. You cannot go wrong by telling the truth in this case, even if it costs you money now. Money spent now is better than lots of money spent later.
