Yes, I listened to all the songs they posted, and not just once. They don't sound exactly like Wilco, and the lead singer doesn't sound like Jeff Tweedy. Thats not the point. It's fun (for me at least) to hear people having fun playing the Wilco songs they love. I would guess you are not a musician yourself, because you would know letting other people hear you perform is a very scary thing, and when you use words like "horrendous" and tell people they can't sing, its flat out mean. I mentioned this in the Random Topic Thread, but I went to his LA booksigning and was amused and impressed by him in person. He's a really nice guy (I asked for him to sign my book that way, he wasn't being mean), and we emailed back and forth afterwards about something that happened at the signing. The book itself consistantly made me chuckle the whole way through, and as long as you know he's joking and as long as you can handle his vulgar humor, i recommend it.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure where and when most of these are from, except for the most recent ones (which i converted to mp3 myself) they are just songs that people posted at random times on VC which i happened to snag and put in one place. But I'm sure someone more knowledgable than me can figure out which shows these are from? Sorry
