  4. "All I Need" is badass...may be my fave. I need many more listens to be sure...but im going to sleep. Faust Arp sounds like "Dear Prudence" with Sufjan Stevens strings in the background
  5. The Bends is better than perfect, don't get me wrong. I just think OK Computer and Kid A are just a little more perfect. (I even like Pablo Honey) P.S. House of Cards is great.
  6. OK Computer is my favorite, but I'd go straight to the combined Kid A/Amnesiac after that.
  7. I haven't hit a track yet that I haven't already heard live, but I'm liking it :-)

  10. by the way, all of you complaining in the past month about the eagle ballroom's terrible sound....are completely correct. But it wasn't bad enough to put a damper on how good the show was. Songs I remember them playing: California Stars Hesitating Beauty Casino Queen Too Far Apart Outtasite (Outta Mind) Red Eyed and Blue -> I Got You Someone Else's Song **WITHOUT PA** A Shot in the Arm I Am Trying to Break Your Heart War on War Jesus, Etc. Heavy Metal Drummer I'm the Man Who Loves You Pot Kettle Black Spiders (Kidsmoke) Hummingbird Handshake Drugs You Are My Face Imposs
  11. Jeff played one song sans PA: "Someone Else's Song". It worked for most of the song, but I didn't hear the first third because (drunk) people kept shouting "woo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and "JEFF YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!" but for those 2/3rds i could hear....man was it cool. re: clapping. Yes, Milwaukee did much better, but Chicago would have done fine if it wasn't tens of thousands of people many of whome were prohibited from clapping on time by the speed of sound.
  12. & you will know us by the trail of dead does not count.
  13. David Tennant will be playing a parody version of himself and the Doctor in the Extras Christmas Special. I already enjoyed the show a lot, and now I will enjoy it that much more! Trailer: (NSFW) http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/b...bctid1213890945
  14. You are over-estimating both my knowledge of sports and my age!
  15. The dad in the comic strip "Zits" is a big Moby Grape fan.
  16. How do I know this band is full of shit? Don't mess with the Chicago River, Dave.
  17. This is my answer, but I voted yes anyways, because it changes all the time.
  18. Oh blast I drank the wrong draft down two sips from your crown, the drops you left for me, am I so easily appeased? Madrigal, why didn't you come out today, you promised to play. Marigold, why didn't you come out today, we promised to play fair. You were already there. You were ready to cast our fate to the wind, to try your hand at everything, what a cinch it would have been had we been there. Those trials are held for tuning in and smiles are stretched to be shown, so when you claim to see for miles it's not but I believe it's true. Yes, trials are held for tuning in, and smile
  19. That was an exciting finish to the Bears game, and definitely gives me a bit of hope for the rest of the season.
  20. I vote yes on playoffs, but maybe just a 4 team one. I think the top 4 teams usually all have good reason to claim they are championship material, plus with just 4 teams you could keep the championship series within the major 4 bowls, which would piss off less people.
