If you are OK with mp3s, the mother hips board thegrotto.com has quite a few. You have to register with the site, but that's easy. Just be aware many people will not trade for shows encoded to mp3. If you have fast internet and are not behind a firewall or on a .edu site, the torrent sites posted above are your best bet.

I think the lyrics may be slightly in flux at this point

Death Ships opened with their own set for about 45 minutes - these guys are a very good indie rock/americana/alt country band. I think most people on this board would dig them a lot. Some of their mellower stuff is on their myspace page, but they can bring the loud rock as well. Check 'em out. But I think the question on everyone's mind was: "How was Jay going to sound". The answer IMO: very, very good. Jay came out and played a few songs solo electric, admitting he was the "most nervous guy in Cook County". The crowd was very suportive though, and he drew more than a few chuckles when, as

I think the cheap seats are more like $25, though I'm not sure I can recommend the cheap seats at the Aud Theater

Those 2000 versions are nice - a bit peppier than the album version

OMG - I heard Jeff put the guy in a headlock and gave him a tat on the ass!!!11

Creation Date: 11-Mar-2001 Expiration Date: 11-Mar-2008 seems unlikely given these dates

Good call - I was thinking electric guitar - it's easy to plug into any of the ones I mentioned above. But but those headstock ones are especially perfect for an acoustic with no pickup, especially if tuning in a noisy room.

I've seen one guy's rig which is two Valve Jr heads and matching Epi Tiggerman Cabinets in stereo. 5 watts isn't much in a 1x8 combo, but two of them pushing two 4x12 cabs moves a lot of air! Oh yeah, total cost for the amps and cabs was That said, I'm happy with the Traynor and and it's a lot less crap to move around

--> QUOTE(Paul B @ Oct 17 2006, 12:30 PM) I wish Jeff gave that guy a good, solid donkeypunch. And all those working security............they deserve to never be employed as "security" again. do you know what a donkeypunch is?

Plenty of ones that will do that, you just want a chromatic tuner - two popular versions for stage use are the Boss TU-2 and the Korg DT-10. People with a ton of money or who really require super accurate tuning like the Peterson Strobostomp. If you don't need a stage tuner for live work, something like the Korg CA30 should work fine and is a lot cheaper.

Making an intro Wilco mix for a friend - please help!
jhc replied to smile_all_the_time's topic in Just A Fan
clearly a lost cause - I would stop being friends with her -
clearly this is solace doing some shameless promotion, or else IRDBoon is back. duh - I didn't even notice that solace responded in this thread

size queen Except for the Prunes and Custard, which I bought specfically to play Wilco stuff, I too only share the tuner and volume pedal. Mostly because I can't afford the gear Tweedy can.

Let's Not Get Carried Away (New Song) Louisville recording HERE!!
jhc replied to HaikuWarriors41's topic in Just A Fan
I'm happy for Wilco to change - I love AM and I love AGIB. I love Walken and I love On and On and On. I love a good rock song, and would be thrilled if they brought back a simple 3 chord rocker like Dreamer. That said, I think this song is pretty awful. -
He's playing with a band on this tour if I remember correctly. The song I heard on the radio sounded very Wallflowers-esque to me. Jay's singing voice isn't the best, but if he's playing lead guitar, I'm sure there will be some great moments. Please post a review after the show....

I once had a "prototype" Budweiser stout they were serving at the brewery. It was not good. I don't have a lot of confidence Miller will do better.

he needs the LP to match his new Marshall

that's how they got me

Chris Girard is his name - don't know much else about him
