  1. I can't believe this, that's so awesome. I saw Low live last year in philly, they're really great. I really have to go see one of those shows.
  2. I think Jim O'Rourke is extremely talented, and in my opinion did a beautiful job mixing YHF and AGIB, not to mention his playing on AGIB. And to say that YHF and AGIB lacked color and depth is in my opinion absurd. The Jim Scott mixes seem to be a little more upfront, much more like a live mix. O'Rourke's style is more subtle, there's a lot going on sonically but you have to really focus and open your ears to take it all in. Not that I have a problem with Jim Scott's mixes, I think he did a great job with "Kicking Television" and with "Summerteeth" which must have been particularly hard to mi
  3. I heard they're going to go back and add some of Jay's leftover keyboard overdubs from YHF to the SBS songs.
  4. What if Jeff Tweedy is GLENN moreso than Nels...
  5. I'm pretty sure ALTWYS and Spiders will stick around, for when Jeff's get's the urge to rock out. Also I could see "I'm The Man Who Loves You" sticking around as one of the YHF songs.
  6. I love the breedlove, it looks quite a bit like jeff's Santa Cruz. Does anyone know of any affordable 000's that don't have square shoulders but are shaped more like the breedlove or santa cruz. I've found a lot in the 2000-4000 range but nothing cheaper, aside from a few kits.
  7. I'm hearing "tiles tile black"

Hasn't Jeff said that "Jesus Etc." sounds like a Doobie Brothers song?

    Sky Blue Sky

I was really blown away by the album! It was the most soulful, old school rock and roll, groovin', flat out sexy record that I've heard in quite sometime. Like many others on this board I was blown away by hate it here and think aside from some small minutia these songs translated brilliantly into the studio. "Sky Blue Sky" and "Please Be Patient With Me" really blew me away, as did "Hate it Here." I can't wait to listen to the record more, but that's my initial reaction. Also I recorded it. I'm assuming that about 200 other people have already uploaded it to yousendit, but if they haven't f
  12. I've purchased two acoustic guitar pickups from them, one a seymour duncan and the other an Lr Baggs m1. The seymour duncan was missing pieces, the m1 was broken.
  13. Second that. "I trust no emotion, I believe in locomotion."

  15. In Jeff's interview in Guitar World Acoustic from 04' he says: "GWA: In addition to your electric work, you do play lots of acoustic on A Ghost Is Born. What did you use on the record? TWEEDY: I used a copy of Leadbelly's Stella 12-string..." Maybe this is the 12-string in question. Here's the whole interview for anyone who's interested: http://www.geocities.com/nutnhunee/0904gwa.html
  16. Seems like maybe it's finally time for Acuff-Rose

  19. I could be wrong, I just remember thinking when I saw him and Glenn in philly that his Dano had a longer neck then the 56-U1s and 56-U2s I've seen, so I assumed it was a baritone.
  20. Just spotted this, thought it was pretty cool:
