Happy birthday to my fellow west coast canuckle.

MA2 wasn't as solid as the first (mostly because Bragg's material was weak), I don't know how good the stuff that wasn't good enough to make that record would be...
-
I'll add in The Wilco Book (or as it should be retroactively refereed to, Wilco [The Book]) because there's some really solid stuff in there that problem gets forgotten about. AM: Dash 7, Too Far Apart Being There: Misunderstood, Hotel Arizona Mermaid Ave: At My Window Sad and Lonely, Hesitating Beauty Summerteeth: Via Chicago, Summerteeth Mermaid Ave 2: Airline To Heaven, Remember the Mountain Bed The Foxtrot: I Am Trying To Break Your Heart, Poor Places A Ghost: At Least That's What You Said, Wishful Thinking The Book: This Is New, Hummingbird (Soma) Sky Blue Sky: You Are My Face, What Lig

My thoughts: I don't believe that Aaron = MiB. When we saw the Man in Black as he originally was, he had dark hair. Jacob, however, has light hair. I'm still really subscribing to the theory that Flocke is Jack's son in the alternate universe. Either that or he is SOMEONE in the alternate universe, that is his "home"... and all the things that has resulted in the alternate universe (smoke monster killing the freight crew so some could leave the Island, others to travel back in time, John Locke needing to be dead to return to the Island with Jack and crew, who happen to wind up in the same time

One of my instructors from college, who, for the record, was not very good, but he played and knew Nels Cline and is good friends with the cello player in the film "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart". Another instructor worked with Glyn Johns for years, worked with everyone from Bob Dylan to The Who. Had some good stories about Duran Duran doing coke on his mixing board and kicking them out of the studio. (Also my father is Clapton/IATTBYB, in case you forgot)

Are you sure? The clip I saw in Canadaland seemed to show Jack and the crew. But that could have been archive footage I suppose.

I really liked seeing Charlie's brother briefly. It's been awhile since we've seen him. Very 1st seasonish, when you use to see characters unknowingly run into each other.
-
Very good episode. One of the most interesting parts of this season so far was Flocke talking about his mom. I have a feeling we know who his mother is.... I still subscribe to the theory that his "home" is the alternate time line.
-
Oh man, I just laughed so hard!
-
My dad is ERIC CLAPTON.
-
I thought that episode was very well done. The lecture Dr. Linus is giving his students about Napolean that mirrors him in the alt-time line, giving his father gas to keep him alive...

I hope he goes for 50.

People here are pretty excited about the Canucks. I don't think they're guaranteed to go far in the playoffs but I think they have just as good as a shot as any other Western team. Especially when one of the top teams in the regular season is San Jose! I wouldn't say them getting to the third round and going past a team like Chicago would be spoiler. The Canucks had a defensive collapse in the last game of the Chicago series last year... but they've gotten better (Henrik and Daniel becoming elite, Kesler is almost a point per game, Burrows has hit 30 goals at this point in the season, addition

I missed the game and I'm pretty glad I did.

Never been more proud to be a Canadian than on Sunday.
-
Apparently he was hurt. Which makes sense, there's really no other reason for a player to be leading the league like he was in December and January and then disappear in February.
-
Well, maybe Sayid has turned evil!
-
I'm sorry but....

Man I really like cheering for players like Iginla, Nash, Crosby, and all those Ducks and Hawks. It's going to be tough going back to hating them! At least I can like Kesler, Salo, Demitra, Ehrhoff, the Sedins, etc again. But yes, trade deadline is a few days away. Here's hoping for David Backes finding his way to the Canucks. Canada! 14 medals!!!!
-
They arranged my numbers, didn't they? So Luongo (1) was first and Crosby (82) last. Toews was right in the middle. Toews was really, really good. I think the players I was most impressed with in the entire tournament were Toews, Kesler, Backes, Niedermayer, and Demitra. Of course, Miller and "Luongold" were really good too Hope you all enjoyed the Winter Olympics, in my province. BC is a beautiful place, but remember there's more than just Vancouver!
-
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's all I can say.... What a great game. Glad to see Kesler playing so well. Great game from the entire US squad.... but even greater game from Canada. I don't think I've ever felt so tense in my life during that OT. At least people can quit criticizing Luongo for not being a winner Crosby! Oh man, too perfect. Too perfect... EDIT: Canada is going crazy!! Everyone see that footage? Vancouver, Whistler, Toronto, everywhere!
-
Can't remember the last time I've been so excited for a hockey game! Lots of story lines here. Canada has already "won" the Olympics (most gold) but if they win this game they'll set an all time record for most gold medals! Nice. Unless they have a complete mental melt down I don't see how Canada could lose this game, they're deeper in all areas. Plus, we haven't seen the best from Crosby yet. If he plays like he did for the Pens cup run last year, watch out, yanks! 30 minutes. :dancing :dancing

YEAH!!! CANADA BEAT SLOVAKIA! AND YOU KNOW WHY?! CAUSE NEIL YOUNG WAS THERE. That's right! The two greatest Canadian's, Neil Young and Roberto Luongo, in the same building at once! CANADA VERSUS US 12:00 ON SUNDAY, BOOK IT!

In regards to whether Christian is the MiB/Dead/Undead/Claimed/etc I believe this to be particularly revealing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWW9vw_ZmmI

Ouch! Finland! I had a feeling Kiprusoff would have a bad game. This is the next step of the all North American final! EDIT: What's worse than Finland's performance is the playbyplay commentator spending a few minutes talking about David Backes' dogs. Ouch.
