I heard something on the radio that not the keeping NA sized ice would have kicked the Canucks out of GM Place for months. What would you have had the Canucks do? They own GM Place, they're not going to allow cement to be cut out, seats to be removed, less tickets sold at the games, just to make the non-NHL players feel better. So today I ventured into my local music store, looking for a guitar stand. Walked out with this. I wanted to get a Country Gent but buying them used off the internet isn't something I wanted to do and, living in Northern Canada I'd be in tough luck finding one for a decent price. But here this was. It was inexpensive (as for as a Gretsch goes), but certainly doesn't feel or sound inexpensive... plus it's purty too!

The Canucks, on paper, are the best team in the NW. They haven't lived up to expectations though, partly due to a rash of injuries, but also to over confidence. They'll easily beat the Capitals one night and then lose to Carolina the next. They play down to their opponents. However, I think they've learned their lesson at this point. We'll see, they play the last place Oilers tonight. And yes!! Henrik Sedin (as well as his brother Dan) has really stepped it up this year. Even when they're not scoring, 99% of the time they're the most dominate players out on the ice. They'll lead this franch

That should have said "did you get that on ebay or what?!". I've done some looking around on my own and they're hard to find. Strangely it seems like most people just randomly ran into them. I think a lot of instruments like that get tossed because people don't know what they have... the rest get sold for too much, or at least the easy to find ones do.
