  1. I voted for Obama but I guess I don't matter due to me being a Canadian
  2. Okay, first off, for the record, I was like... 14 when I bought The Green Album, before that I listened to whatever was popular of the day, Blink-182 and Linkin Park. I remember listening to The Green Album that summer and hearing O Girlfriend for the first time, a song that today I'd say has a pretty (but ultimately only mediocre) melody and being blown away ... it was like something clicked with me, that completely changed my musical direction. However, saying O Girlfriend is as good as Holiday or The World Has Turned is ludicrous. O Girlfriend seems as if Rivers found some notes that go wel

  4. Does this mean we'll have advertisements in the middle of albums?
  5. What Neil Young is doing is noble but this is the sad reality for most of his listeners.
  6. It's a deep and complicated beef. I think part of it might have to do with the fact that everyone gives the Canucks, who've been in the league since 1970, shit for not winning the cup yet (however the Vancouver Millionaires and the Victoria Cougars both won the cup) yet the Leafs haven't won a cup since 67 and have never won their conference. But it's most likely due to the feelings most people from Vancouver have for Toronto. I've heard a lot of Toronto fans call the Leafs "Canada's team" which is crazy talk. But don't worry, I have nothing but love for my eastern brothers.
  7. At least Hab fans have something to be proud of. Well, that's the way I see it.
  8. This song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABIHB1uJKQY Or this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiZ2-S8EN0Y
  9. If airfare and the tickets are included, I'll do it!
  10. Words cannot express how much Leaf fans annoy me.
  11. I hope that was sarcastic!!! I like Kesler when he's playing good, but he seems to be streaky... I'd trade him but not Edler. Edler's the best defense we got I reckon. Anyways, I had heard it was going to be Kesler and Morrison... which I am still opposed to. Either way, it's foolish to take think Toronto's problems will fix ours. Maybe we'd get more scoring if AV stopped doing things like benching Linden and then letting players like Isbister, Cowan, and Ritchie play. Then when he does let Linden play he's stuck with those two-bit players. Who is going to watch the All Star game this weekend?
  12. If this means we're possibly another step closer to making pot belly pig sized elephants, then yes, I'm all for it.
  13. There's been talk here about a trade for Mats Sundin. No thanks.
  14. Yuck that's gross. So the next time you have a bath in there, it's like having a bath in a toilet.
  15. Jeff's migraines, I reckon.
  16. What?! I've always felt that the only thing more intense then an episode of Lost is half an hour of CPAC.
  17. If it was Son Volt of 1995, then yeah, I'd pay. But I have absolutely no interest in watch 2008's Son Volt.
  18. I don't pay over 50 dollars to see concerts anymore. But for Uncle Tupelo I will make an exception. Uncle Tupelo - $51 Wilco - $50 Jeff - $50 Son Volt - $0 Jay - $0 Wait, which Jay are we watching solo? I'd pay 15 dollars to see J.B. solo.
  19. Maybe try to get George to quit smoking too?
  20. Gimmie a heads up if you're going to go see the rooftop concert.
