come on Cardinals.......it worked out well that I had a mid afternoon doc appt. to then come home and be able to watch almost the whole game! I am too enjoying all the ball.....only series I am not bothered to watch is the Mets/Dodgers. I am not rooting for or against either.......

they don't have a very good team, even with all those wins......but, I still hope they get some business done. The Tigers should have won the Central AL, but that's the way these things go...... GO CARDS!

wow - it looks like the Cardinals might actually *gulp* win this game! It's so nice being able to watch the Cardinals. Something I definitely miss. -- Well, I shouldn't speak so soon....Carp is coming out. And even though he has two base runners, he is still better than anything they have in the bullpen.

I would like to see the A's beat the Twins and the Tigers beat the Yankees, to then see the Tigers go to the WS and win it. That said, I have no expectations for the Cardinals to even get past the ALDS. They don't even really deserve a playoff spot - but there ya go. Of course, I want them to win it all - but that isn't going to happen. Regardless, I believe that any NL team who makes it to the WS will get smacked around pretty hard.

Where I went to grad school, a TA might not get kicked out of the program for having something going on with a student, but they sure as hell would be "fired" from their TA position. At least where I went, being a TA meant you were an employee of the school. I received checks from them for my time, along with full tuition remission.

I have been on a VC hiatus, but had to come on and share this website with you crafties.....I am all over this project! I have yet to finish my first bear......but am on a roll. Mother Bear Project -- I saw a quick mention of Hobby Lobby - where Nat got her box.......I ran by there yesterday at lunch and it had to be one of the worst retail experiences of my life. I managed to buy the yarn and needles I was after, but will never return. I am now on the hunt for a good mom and pop knitting store nearby.

Everyone is so quick to point out all the evil done in the name of religion......what about people who use their faith to carry out selfless acts of kindness and love?? Mother Teresa? Gandhi? MLK?
