Depends on where you live. In a state with cleaner power, electric is far better. My state has so much coal power that it's a toss up, with an electric edging out a gas guzzler, but about tied with an efficient car. Old coal plants are nasty.

I agree that the consumerism of it gets really gross. The malls, the internet, the pressure. If you're not Christian (my family isn't) that takes out another notch. If you're going for sarcasm then I think you missed some of the context of what Mr. Trump was communicating. The word firm sounds benign, however the statement does not.
