I think about this a lot, anyone want to help me put together a timeline? I think it's obvious that the timeline should begin with the beatles and then descend from there (and a lot of this is opinion, but I'd like to hear other people's suggestions): here's the general idea: Beatles: 1963 - Beatles bust on the stage with Love Me Do (in 1962) and never let go of the public's attention until 1970 1964 - release of A Hard Day's Night and Beatles for Sale 1965 - release of Help and Rubber Soul 1966 - release of Revolver 1967 - release of Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour 1968 - release

tv-links should be allowed because the stream was anything but DVD quality. many times the video didn't match the voice/sound.

wow thanks a lot. i really like that particular riff, i wonder if jay or jeff came up with it.
-
perhaps the intro riff? sounds like it has a bunch of slides and hammer ons and stuff

zack braff made them famous

well really he did a pretty straight cover, he just didn't hold out those notes. i think those long held out notes are the best part of the song... but i still like the cover. -

also, i don't really think jeff "nailed" this song. definitely could have used louder and longer yelps at the high points of the verses... in other words he should have sang it more like dylan. -

what is the tab for the step down to C part? that doesn't make sense to me because the root note of the A is just open A and the root note of the C is the third fret on the A string. Are you supposed to be playing bar C?
