  1. In the words of the Dude, "well, that's, like your opinion, man."
  2. It's been in constant rotation for me as well. I spun the black circle on Rust Never Sleeps last night. Love the guitar power on 'Powderfinger'
  3. How is it? I watched the film last night. Very interesting in the film concept and footage used; the segment where they covered the topic of the various drummers throughout their career was particularly amusing. I hope the DVD will have a bonus disc with full performances. On the downside, there doesn't seem to be anything too revelatory in what info was used in the film that hasn't already been mentioned throughout the years in news and magazine interviews. Still an entertaining viewing.
  4. There's something about Capital City that reminds me of 'Good Company' by Queen.
  5. It doesn't have to be one or the other, there's room for both in my book. I've seen both live multiple times and enjoyed each experience. I wasn't excited about the King of Limbs, but I will see the band when they tour again.
  6. I did notice that the crowd wasnt really into it. When Jeff first asked how folks were doing, there were a few cheers, but nothing overwhelming. I'm not sure why the band hasn't played Charlottesville in four years, but come back guys. There are your usual Chatty Cathys, but the majority of the crowd will give as much to you as you give to us.
  7. I noticed that Jeff and Pat were playing to each other last night while Nels was shredding.
  8. It's not a b-side, but it is a non-album track 'diamond claw' from the Wilco book. A great instrumental.
  9. When they began Red-Eyed & Blue, Jeff had to switch guitars because the one he was going to use was out of tune. He made a comment like 'that's what I get for letting someone else use my guitar, so I guess Lowe had used his. I concur about Glenn. The whole band was energized tonight. Although Ive heard the older songs plenty of times, they sounded fresh tonight. Pot Kettle Black was so intense that Jeff broke a string. Nels went to town on 'Impossible Germany', he played a kick-ass solo towards the end of the song that I had not heard before. I was blown away by Bull Black Nova live. No
  10. They did trade off. That one was awesome as well. I felt so-so about Nick Lowe as an opening act, I think if he had a full band behind him, I would have gotten into it more. I met WilcoMe and her friend Cynthia tonight and had fun hanging out with them.
  11. Soldier (?) (with the Jesus of cool, Nick Lowe) Not sure if that is the correct title, but damn, that song kicked ass! I Love My Label (with Nick Lowe)
  12. My bad! The last song was Standing O One Sunday Morning
