I've watched parts of all the "duo" shows and have a mixed reaction. While I appreciate the concept of it it and have enjoyed parts of it, overall it's a slight train wreck. A lot of it is just really sloppy, imo. I realize this is in tune with the GD's ethos, in a sense, but the stripped down stuff doesn't necessarily translate too well, for me, in the non-rehearsed category. Also, they have a shit-ton of tunes between them that span over 50 yrs, yet are playing the same tunes after 2-3 shows. Minor gripe. I love that they are playing together but some of it has been cringe-worthy to my ears.

What's the story? That Trump fucked a porn "actress"? This lady needs to go away.

I think they sound fine (for septuagenarians). He's a sound-glimpse in time, back when Weir's voice was, you know, really good: Isolated tracks! https://livemusicblog.com/2017/06/04/grateful-dead-isolated-vocal-tracks/2/

I saw Donna singing with a band a bunch of years ago (Stir Fried? JGB (Melvin's band)? and she sounded great.

Just trying to help. Though it seems as though you were one of only a handful of folks that listened to/went to the establishments you listed.

Have you considered opening up your own over-played classic Rock & Roll farm stand and sandwich shop? Maybe call it Ye Over-played Classic Rock & Roll Farm Stand and Sandwich Shoppe.
-
I don't think any of them have been back in there to play in any form since Oct. '80.

Try: Any Classic Rock-Formatted Station in the U.S.?

I enjoyed it, even if some of it was sloppy ("Cassidy," comes to mind). This is from RCMH, btw

Nice. Alone Together is still a favorite Lp of mine.

P&F have done it before. I think the one from Friday night was really nice.

I can not imagine my current 14 year old with a rifle. Nor my, 10, 15, or 17 year old. Even if we didn't live in the city.

Herad;s up: Ticketmaster is currently selling tix to Bob and Phil at RCMH tonight and tomorrow, as well as BOS and CHI tickets. A re-release, I guess....

I'd forgotten about this: In '86 the GD did version of "That's Alright, Mama" with an intro of "Since My Baby Left Me," (same covered artist, Arthur Crudup). Not quite a JGB version, but cool none the less: https://archive.org/details/gd1986-04-18.sbd.miller.34762.sbeok.flac16/gd86-04-18d1t10.flac

You deserve a mention.

I'm pretty sure there are no fees to set up shop, be it a cooler of water or a mini Mall of America.

Which vendors? The official ones? If so, I don't know. I know that the Phish merchandising crew would, and still do, I believe, roam the lots. General rule=if it doesn't say "Phish" on it, the logo, or band me,member images then it's usually not a big deal. I know that using the venue name on lot merchandise is usually frowned upon and open to confiscation, as well, but at Dick's it's everywhere....

They do. They've been doing it for years. A crew working the lot(s). An old friend Amy used to be in charge of that for them.

Yeah, good stuff: however, in the security’s judgment it appears that the amount of alcohol is excessive for the number of persons in the vehicle, or if anyone in the vehicle is under 21 years of age, or if Tim is there, the organizers reserve the right to deny entry of the vehicle and/or confiscate the alcohol. Full sized metal Kegs may not be brought onto the property, even if they are wearing full metal jackets. WILL THERE BE A SEASON 3 OF “STRANGER THINGS”? Yes.
