Hanging out after the show like two princes....
-
Nice. Love Emmylou and Kris. This Old Road is a great, fairly recent, album of his.
-
Love the disclaimer. They have two drummers these days or just Dale?
-
I think they handed a typo-ed line-up card to the home plate ump.

Good article on Mookie Betts' hot start and comparisons to trout. Looking forward to the series against NYY starting tonight, as the NYY have been pn fire of late: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2774615-mookie-betts-has-become-mike-trouts-clone-in-race-for-mlbs-best-player?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial

My oldest boy's middle name is J.R.R......Plus, he's named after me, so he's a "Jr." Then there's my youngest, e.e. Iceberg Slim.

Caught Phil Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band (w/ Leftover Salmon opening) Saturday at Red Rocks. Very solid stuff. Yeah, these guys are a "bar band" but they sure fiilled Red Rocks with some strong playing. Phil popped into a local club last night to sit-in on a couple tunes, too. Unbroken Chain was one of them....

Depending on the type of bird, and how many of them there are, they can also be cited for a commotion, mischief, conspiracy, or even murder.

I'll never forget how hot it was at RFK '86 w/ Dylan and Petty playing with GD. Dylan was in leather pants/vest and was almost inaudible in his mumbled barking voice, and OH HEY a huge bottle of whiskey on stage with him!

Or run out of ice cubes at a party....

We just finished the last episode last night. It's a bit dragged out but interesting, nonetheless.
-
I notice you have a lot of 10.10.82 Frost in there (as it's an excellent show), but not that scorcher Minglewood opener!
-
I liked 82-83 versions of Touch a lot more than the'87-onward versions. Pretty much the opposite with Throwing Stones (late 80s versions were really good, dran ot, and intense.

Maybe he's revealing a version of "Truckin' " where Weir doesn't flub the lyrics.

Yeah, couple thousand ft. higher in elevation than Denver. Great venue/area, of course. Great hiking across town (Bridal Veil Falls), too, if you're into that thing.
-
I've gotta make it back to that fest sometime soon. Have you been in awhile? It's been about 18 yrs since, for me. My ex still takes the kids.
-
Nice. Curious how this'll be (I'm sure it'll be good). Be nice to hear him doing mostly Crowes stuff again. They're playing Denver on the 6th and contemplating going (it's a Tues. night and I really don't like weeknight/get-up-at-5:30-the-next-morning-for-work shows, but.....I guess this'll be the only tour for them, too, at least for a few years.

Ah. Ah. I thought it was a bit soon for him to be asking!

Have a friend looking for a a download/copy of last DP's (Albuquerque) if anyone has it.....
-
Yeah, it is horrible. I hope he can pull through it.

Some questionable decisions by Cora not pinch-hitting a power hitter or 2 deep into the game yesterday(Betts? Ramirez?) , but ultimately, just a couple of losses. That no hitter was probably the shakiest one I've seen, too.
-
It was cool to watch it go down, though I'll cop to texting a few people to let them know a no-hitter was in progress.....
-
They were not able to get a hit off Manaea. That doesn't take away from their torrid start to the season, imo, but it certainly slowed them down, as did their loss yesterday.

15-2. It's been amazing watching this team so far this year. Walloping the second-best team in the AL the last 2 nights 10-1 and 9-0. They seem to have all facets of the game covered offensively and defensively. Even if the ride ends soon, it's been a fun start to the season.

Listened to this last weekend, several times. Was not necessarily on an R.E.M. jag, just a Document jag....
