They've done a few mid-week games this year with varied (other than 7:05) start times at home. Not sure why. It has been on the schedule all year for 5:00, though.

I prefer the later period Beatles but any Beatles is better than no Beatles. It still boggles the brain just how many excellent (and they really are excellent) tunes they've created.

Eh. They blew a comfy lead. I typically like the throw-back unis but those I did not. They should bust out either the feather-helmeted logo or the arrow-helmeted logo w/uniforms. I blame the loss on the poor choice of early 70s uniforms/logo.

When I was a kid I used to love the ending of "Uncle John's Band" with the anticipation of the "whiff" to start off "Casey Jones" on the GD's Skeletons From the Closet.

N.L.- Ryan Braun, Troy Tulowitzki, Hunter Pence are all pretty strong candidates. Braun has had an excellent year offensively but struggled defensively. My vote would be for Tulowitzki. A.L.- Dustin Pedroia, Brian Bannister, and...? Dice k has had a decent year but has fallen short of the hype mark. I'd say Pedroia has a solid chance at ROY.
