As did taking your wife to a "Spaghetti Factory" on your honeymoon, I'd imagine.

I actually picked up that recent Band tribute album from the library and decided not to listen to it. Every time I went to pop it in I kept thinking: "but the original version is so damn good...." I opted not to taint my ears.

There's one of these in Denver I've taken the family to a few times. Awesome old builing with high ceilings, kid-friendly, decent food, excellent price, speedy service, and they serve lbeer/liquor. Daddy like.

I was thinking along the same lines. I saw one earlier: When Brett's doctor broke the news to her son he should have phrased it: Your mother is deader than a BLANK.

I believe it's been re-released of late as I've seen it in the library a bunch. How else to explain the re-surgence?
-
Hmmn. If I could only remember the posts.

So are we all in ageement that everyone owns and enjoys the Crosby album?

Doug Sahm is awesome. My entry: Dave Mason, Alone Together

No you're silly.

Way to work this a.m.: GD Reckoning Disc 2.

I'm not. Though I don't know if it was him or not. It was a guy playing keys that they flashed to quickly and it looked like him to me. I guess we'll have to wait 'til next Monday night to follow up on it.

Mountain Vibes headed your way.
-
Dude.

For the Monday Night game intro (that justed viewed) they show Hank Williams, Jr. (of course) playing with Brian Setzer, Jon Bon Giovi, some Country singer dame, and they do a very quick flash to a keyboard player. The keyboard player looks a lot like Page McConnell from Phish. Anybody got a bead on this one? Go 'Skins.

(and for a NYY, I actually don't mind Jeter).
-
It's not a bad album but they really shine as a live band and I don't think the second disc of Elko (the live one) is a strong showing of their skills. I think the album The Black Bear Sessions shows their skills a bit more. If that works for you, try the archives.

It's o.k.

On the way to work: The Beatles, Anthology Vol. 3, disc 2. All studio out takes. And Steve Earle, Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark, Together at The Bluebird Cafe.

The Marlins do have a very strong offense. I was really impressed with their base running/speed, too though. Hanley had 3 SBs but it was just a piece of their presence on the bases.
-
Thanks!
-
Definitely. Space was limited.
-
There was no UFO/spaceship at the Red Rocks show last night....
-
Just got back from the COL/FLA game and witnessed an utter thrashing by the Marlins. They can really move on the bases. Nice night weather-wise, though.

Brady grew up in California so it actually makes perfect sense to root for the Yankees. It isn't the first time Brady has been seen sporting NYY attire around Boston, either. Thanks for the phone offer, lysis, but the espn Game Cast deal gives me a better visual. They all look the same, though.
