  1. I picked these three up at the library this afternoon and have been cruising in and out of all three:
  2. I'll be catching P&F at the Fillmore one night and Red Rocks the next in a few weeks. re: Shakedown Street- I get much pleasure out of the out-takes from the studio sessions. One of my favorite "Good Lovin's" ever featuring Lowell George (who produced the album) singing as the highlight. You decide: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...5669748662FDF42
  3. I'm with luke79 on this one. Not that it isn't a nice gesture to try and make the fans feel more included in the show, but it's just a request form, right? They didn't say they'd actually play any of the requests now did they? And no "Banter" option? WTF!
  4. Hah, I slipped in MOMM while you were posting. Great minds, and all...
  5. Yes. And... Talking Book Music of My Mind Hotter Than July Musicquarium
  6. But the mix is for someone else, right? I'd just lend your brother Being There, YHF, and Summerteeth and let him sort through them.
  7. Shhhh...the sleeping dogs are lying down.
  8. So is this a deterrent from smoking or a reason to smoke?
  9. I like it. It's to the point. And it's true, JT can burn holes through his shoes by staring at them. Not because he's boring, but because he has alien robot superpowers.
  10. This is a fact. And the main sway pulling me that direction.
  11. I'm the same, mb, but that meth lab shit crosses the line. I'm sure you know this already, but the house (and others in close proximity depending on the amount they're cooking) is very capable of going Ker-Bang. Besides the fact that there's anti-freeze and Drano and other not-so healthy stuff to consume in the product, the house is a potential bomb. And, the toxic shit that is left in the wake of the cooking doesn't usually stay within the confines of the "lab" or even the house it's cooked in. ed. Sorry if I'm coming across as being a whiner. A big baby. I don't mean to sound like a big
  12. I paid $55 (including tax/service charge) and with the delivery fee it was $61.50 total.
  13. Cheers, matey. Keep an eye on your old man for us. Remember, it's your birthday.
  14. I got the chance to meet Jackson once (along with homebrew master Charlie Papazian) at a small beer clinic deal in New York in the early/mid 90s. Both guys are intellectuals and obviously incredibly knowledgeable on the subject of beer, but I remember him being a guy's guy, too. Really down-to-earth.
  15. I dvr'ed it last night as I was tired and didn't feel like waiting up. I've been avoiding this thread until I viewed the recording in order to be surprised. I just watched it but the dvr stopped recording after the second verse. Bummer. I'll catch 'em in town the next two nights though, so it's all legit.
  16. Was there really any doubt that he was head-hunting? For his short stint Joba has shown pretty impeccable control...except for two particular pitches.
  17. Not bad for a guy in his late 50s, though. Maybe it's just the lighting....
