  1. Yeah. It sounds nice now....... Exactly what I want the sound to be....
  2. Not to bitch with a free live download, but is anybody else's sound a tad garbled? And yes, I turned it down a bit....
  3. You can call the tunes for us all night. But please don't... I am an American....
  4. Don't know how. I'm a simple man. And now, a happy simple one at that.

  6. Just a little fun with words, sir. If we can't turn references to near-lethal meatloaf into overt homosexual innuendo's, what is left for the taking?
  7. Has nobody mentioned Judy Collins' "Send in the Clowns"?! That there's a sad song.
  8. Yeah, probably not the best choice of words. How about: advancing meat log?
  9. Not yet, though I'd welcome (nay, encourage) an aggressive meat dish on most nights.
  10. MAAAAAAAAAAAAA......!! The MEATLOAF!!!! FUCK!!!!!!!
  11. The 81 year old guy was wise to coax the ray into his boat for the donnybrook. The stringray was out of his element from the get-go. This was croc hunter's fatal mistake.
  12. Since a lot of the good ones are spoken for I feel compelled to offer an ol' standby: Tiptoe Through the Tulips, Tiny Tim. Everytime I hear it I think to myself: is it getting dusty in here or what?
  13. Mr. Green, with the lead pipe, in the Ball Room.
  14. Col. Mustard. In the parlor. With the candlestick.
  15. I acknowledge that Wilco will do this from time to time (a la arrangement on Via Chicago). My point is that the majority of their material is played the same way for extended periods of time (nothing wrong with this, it is what it is) with little variation. To compare that to how Dylan (I'll leave off the Stones for this point) does his sets is not a good comparison, IMO. Dylan switches up his live versions of the same tunes constantly (sometimes to the dismay of fans) and has been doing so from the get-go. Going to a Dylan show (moreso in the past than presently, but still....) was/is a fut
  16. Not to get too heavy here, but The Stones, and especially Dylan, may play the same tunes for years at a time but they play them differently. Catching Dylan doing a Highway 61 from a few years back and this year you may not even recognize the tune at first. The Stones constantly shake their tunes up by adding/subtracting horns, back up singers/keyboardss/etc.I realize Wilco does this too, sometimes, but it's usually the difference between a JT solo version and a Wilco version. The Muzzle of Bees from last year is pretty much the Muzzle of Bees this year, etc. I'm not bitching about it, but ther
  17. creativetype: Excellent camera work. That blue-toned one is intense. Do you sell professionally?
  18. Many, but one that presently springs to mind: Well alright, I know you probably hate me, but that's O.K. with me, alright -Outtasite (outtamind)
  19. Weir's an underrated rhythm guitarist. He's got an ability to weave the lead and rhythm textures together in tunes, and often will take on parts typically reserved for drums/bass. I think on stage he was a nice ying to Garcia's yang (the reticent/reluctant showman lead guitarist v. the stage-light seeking rock star. I was never a huge fan of the cowboy Bob tunes (though the playing on tunes like Mexicali, Big River, etc. could get downright ferocious) but always appreciated his presence. He was always good for comic relief, too (waving his hands back and forth during Terrapin '...since the
  20. Mondays are typically the "Potsie's" of the weekdays for me. Yet now that Monday Night Football has been going for a few weeks, as well as NBC's "Heroes, it's upgraded itself to perhaps Richie's seldom-seen older brother, "Chuck." He was a little bit cool. Tolerable, at least.
