Dick's!

Correct! I don't know, Green Day takes a lot of shit, imo, for being a decent Pop band. As to regard of the R& R HoF worthiness, it's already been established that there is little rhyme nor reason that "justifies" the whims of Jann and his small band of minions. Questioning the relevance/worthiness/etc. of bands "honored" to be admitted to the HoF is futile.

The majority (or a least a shitload) of Pop-Punk bands from late 80s to present day?

You can still pick up Dick's Picks anywhere. Amazon is a good place to start because you can get decent used ones for a decent price. I would send them to you if I knew how. Have them all on an external hard drive and iPod....

What bands/artist have you seen the most live? How many times?

I always thought Robyn Hitchcock was a lady. Damn. -
Avett Bros w/ John Prine opening at Red Rocks. Haven't seen Prine in ages.
-
I concur with the Jane's take on "Ripple," too. Superb. Probably my favorite cover of a GD tune.

Todd Snider is awesome.

Try it on your balls next time. Even better. Yeah it's been mid-60s here last coupa day and it it makes the after-work dog walking a lot more enjoyable. I may even bbq tonight.

There's only about 60-70 or so tunes they'll likely play the whole weekend (if sticking to the format they used the last 20 yrs or so of GD). It'd be cool if they dusted off some stuff that they do with the offshoot bands (Golden Road, Mason's, Viola Lee, etc.). Agree that any Phish tune making the cut is highly unlikely and not really the place for it, anyway.

Grateful Dead: a little over 150. -
Have you heard/seen this act before? Pretty new band, right? Just curious. I know they do DSO-style but for JGB....
-
I need to wait a year, I think, to watch it on Netflix.

Hoping to catch the Stones at red Rocks this summer. Heavy rumor.

Give the Brokedown a play for a little fun: https://archive.org/details/gd87-08-16.prefm.ladner.4170.sbeok.shnf

Going to Stevie Wonder on St. Patrick's Day.

Who's the big shot, now?! I'd go.

Ha, no shit. That Boulder Weekly article is noise, too. So sick of the bitching on the 80s fb page/elsewhere. Pay up and go (or try to) or shut up and stay home. Whiners that have tix and whiners that don't want tix and whiners without tix that think they may have wanted tix but aren't 100% sure if they would even use the tix because Jerry is dead and if they had the tix could they bear Trey and on and on and on and on.

I didn't think the Prelude debuted until fall of '72.....
-
I'd like to go but it's on a, uh, Thursday....

$250 per show? That's still a lot of dough.

I bought two but now I'm broke.

It is a great album....I have it on cassette.

Highly doubt he'll see this thread.

Nice. I didn't know she was still around, actually. I picked up Screamin' for My Supper at a used cd store years ago with never having heard her and was impressed. I think I owned Leave the Light On for a spell, too. Have fun.
