I don't see it that way, but it's cool. I'm in the frame of mind that they don't really owe the fans much at this point and I don't really get bummed about who they play with or where or for how much. I like that they switch the lead guitar slot up with the The Dead shows, Furthur shows, etc. If they had simply selected one dude and gone on from there it'd seem a disservice to the GD, for some reason, to me. A good friend of mine is good friends with Jon "JP" Parker (former Wilco stage manager) and we got free roam. He used to do vocals on "Immigrant Song"and "Ziggy Stardust" sometimes at shows, too. Maybe "Paranoid," as well.

The only time I was on stage for a show was when Wilco opened for Sheryl Crow at Red Rocks in '97 or so. Pretty cool perspective.
