Thanx epifromaustin but I'm a windows users. I found this capture software http://www.polderbits.com/ Free for 15 days with no limits (ie. only 5 minutes per session, etc.) just grabbed it and tested it with an online radio broadcast..worked easy. sound quality of course will be suspect but will hold me over till May release.

So I have less than 8 hours to download a free stream audio capturing prog, learn to use and PRAY for a decent stream via my connection. not only are my evening plans changed but appears I have some work to do this afternoon. anyone rec'md a program to capture audio feed?

WMP are not the way to go in burning discs. You are correct in that WMP 11 doesn't allow DAO (disc at once). DAO is how you want to burn your discs, there is no gap with DAO.
