  6. Finally back home tonight, eating a wonderfully plain salad. Wednesday night at Babette's (roast chicken, asparagus, grits) Thursday night at Feast (duck, rice, greens, chocolate kahlua creme cake) Friday night at Watershed (salmon croquettes, roasted tomatoes, fried cauliflower, very chocolate cake--and owned by lesbian Indigo Girl, Emily Saliers!). More than you need to know...

No question: opener. Thanks for this treat. Will wait for the Hotel Arizona.
  12. IMO, the statement has no merit. It is full, with substance, deep, profound, thoughtful, rich, lovely, and so on. Did I mention I love Wilco?
  13. Soup. Bread. Water. On a happier note, I break out of prison for next three nights with plans to dine in some of Atlanta's finest restaurants.
  14. A friend of mine is trying to talk me into attending. I said I'm too old. He said, are you crazy, 44 is the new 19.
  15. Count me in. Great selections, Shakey!

  17. I just watched it this weekend too, and meh. It was ok, but I too was disturbed by the naked fat guy more than the self-hating Jew bits (which I usually enjoy in other, funnier films). Tonight, it's Kill Bill, vols 1 and 2.
  18. Somewhere there's a war, sometimes there is art... I love this song (surprise?). Some parts remind me of Pink Floyd, mainly the organ and Jeff's lead guitar in middle and at the end.
  19. Someone mentioned Spiders: I'll be in my bed You can be the stone That raises from the dead And carries us all home
