Dammit! No one is coming to Detroit anymore.
-
Better news, kind of
-
Only he and John Lennon can say "woman" just right. (down the line)
-
There's that part in the movie when they're all sitting around and Jeff is basically showing Jay how to play it.
-
^When SBS came out and I was a bit disappointed my girlfriend said "You only like him when he's about to can somebody". (She's a little bit wrong though, Leroy left on his own).

I've always liked JF. I'm sure its not like Jay, but he should go to the guy's work and scream obnoxious shit at him, although he may not appreciate the Seinfeld reference. And that list is crap if only for use of the (non)word "noiz". Hell, I can't remember everything I play on every single song. And there's no one else in my band.
-
Nothing on you, I like talking to new people. But that list drives me nuts. I swear he made some of that stuff up. And who makes a list of what they play on an album? Is it written down in his college rule notebook with "Nebraska" scrawled on the dog-eared cover? But you needn't apologize.
-
God, seeing that list again makes me hate him again. And I was starting to get over it!

Its back up and working.
-
Did that site crash? I keep getting a server error.
-
Also "When You Wake up Feeling Old" and "Via Chicago" are the only ones he didn't co-write on Summerteeth. You can't deny his contribution. Dammit.
-
AMC is showing it. Back to back. And I'm watching it again.
-
Maybe if Uncle Tupelo ever went into the Hall of Fame. Which they won't. Because the Hall of Fame is retarded.
-
There's one station here in Detroit that plays "Brick House" every other hour it seems. I can see how he gets that kind of dough.
-
Its a fair point, yet plenty of liberal wanks use John Stewart as a legitimate news source. The Pee Wee Herman of nightly news. I don't think Limbaugh is at all more destructive or influential than Stewart. The Onion doesn't care. I like that.

You know, its total Favre blindness. I just looked at his stats and he had a damn good year. On any other team, following any other quarterback I'd be talking him up. The Favre Kool-Aid made me miss it. Having given Rodgers his propers, I still wish it had been Favre in a packer jersey last season. I think they call it hysterical blindness.
-
You may be right. Are you saying you think Rodgers would have left if they brought back Favre? My opinion gets clouded by my love of the guy. I didn't think Rodgers did a very good job this season, in fact I thought what the team lacked the most was a solid leader. I see a few posts of hatred for Favre. He didn't play on the Yankees! Jeez!
-
If Limbaugh isn't entertainment than neither is this: Oh man
-
I don't think so. Again, I'm totally biased. I think it was absolute crap to not have him back after he brought them to the championship the year before. And there's no doubt in my mind that he was the best quarterback ever. Not just records wise, which he holds most of, but that gunslinger showmanship. He's a character.

I don't think conservatives are stupid. Some of my best friends are conservatives. Partisanship, while blamed for nearly every stinking problem that this country has, is what the country's founders wanted. They wanted intelligent discussion and arguements. Sometimes it seems that only James Carville and Mary Matalin remember that.

Spencer Abraham! You're right, much bigger joke! I believe its good to keep an ear on your enemy.
