  1. Excluding Smith's picking pattern many of his songs not only have Beatlesesque melodies but there are parallels in the chord progressions as well.
  2. Yeah actually I have all of them as well all sound awesome. The 28th show is one of the best recorded Wilco shows I've heard in a long time definately check that one out.
  3. I've got it. It's certainly not the best Wilco show I've heard recorded, lot's of volume issues throughout the show.
  4. Here's I'm Always In Love, love the synths throughout the song and Nels' riff in the vereses. http://www.sendspace.com/file/nc8w2n
  5. Here's On And On And On from the same May 28th show. Fifth time played ever, first time in over a year, first time with the rockin ending. http://www.sendspace.com/file/le8fw3
  6. Well since everyone seems to enjoy/appreciate the posting of live Pot Kettle Black I'll post some of the new songs the band brought back on the European leg of the SBS tour. Here's the return of Kamera from one of the best Wilco shows I've listened to in a while, May 28th in Stuttgart, Germany. http://www.sendspace.com/file/u1jvfj I'll post On And On And On, I'm Always In Love and Either Way soon.
  7. Yeha this really seems just like a rehersal, it's sort of interesting to listen to luckily it's not very long lol. http://www.sendspace.com/file/fdm4ra
  8. I just got this, seems cool I've heard an early version of Wishful Thinking like this before, I can post it if non OiNK users want this.
  9. I love sessions, the Feist one was fantastic. I was hoping they'd do one. Easily the best YAMF live, wow.
  10. Yeah I know my dad and my brother got their tickets from the Massey Hall site already as well.
  11. Around $25 if I remember correctly.
  12. Don't worry guys I'm still waiting for mine here in hte Sault as well.
  13. I know from last years show I ordered through the Musictoday pre-sale and I didn't receive tickets until 11 days before. Worst comes to worst scalp them.
  14. Well I say we talk about something we can all agree on, how great of a song Pot Kettle Black is and how awesome it is the guys are playin it again! Dunno if this is the best version the new lineup has played but here's the recording from the May 25th show. http://www.sendspace.com/file/ycy9ou Enjoy!
  15. Pot Kettle Black sounds fantastic, really really good wow.
  16. I drive a Ford... How do you guys feel about that?
  17. Yeah Wilcoworld mentioned a song called Glad It's Over so that's there as well.
  18. Yep on the cover with a Martin 000 shape guitar (Martin 0-18 if I can remember correctly). Really skimpy magazine but a fairly lengthy article with Jeff, a little thing on Nels, an article and interview with Ian Hunter and an article and interview with Robbie Robertson. Jeff talks about SBS the new lineup etc etc. Good read, go pick it up.
  19. http://www.sendspace.com/file/153ii3 Good luck on Too Far Apart.
  20. Whoa shit! Kamera! Pot Kettle Black (not that new now I guess lol) On and On and On! and I'm Always In Love! Wow lucky lucky. Hopefully a torrent shows up.
  21. Most people like Spoon on this board remember "I Turn My Camera On"? Or when Zeppelin sold "Rock N' Roll" to Cadallac? They barely sold any of their songs except for the School Of Rock movie and Jack Black had to get on his knees for the Immigrant Song! I say congrats for Jeff and Wilco for the VW commercial.
  22. Pot Kettle Black is already back! They play Poor Places and Reservations quite extensively now, Passenger Side gets played once or twice a tour at the end of a show and Heavy Metal Drummer?
