  2. I thought it was super tight. My brother and I had a few drinks prior and he kept going on about how it was a rip off of some old song. hes like "you know the one that goes bum bum bum......bum bum bum...." Im like F OFF I have no idea what youre talking about
  3. wow! is this the first time the cannabis cup has been held in USA??? I thought it was always in Amsterdam?? So great to see how far weve come. I went to the penitentiary for 19 months for marijuana in the early 90s on a bullsh*t trumped up charge here in Virginia I can guarantee you Virginia will be the last state on the list to legalize. P.S. 2 years in jail is something that affects you for life and virtually unbearable except there is concrete and steel that makes you bear it. I never did anything to anyone. Luckily I got out right when computers were breaking and after a couple of ye
  4. 1set Id like to see at Soldier Field Money Money Contact (Phish) Sunrise (Donna Jean sit in) Way to Go Home (Phil on vocals) Eternity> Easy Answers Entire Gamehendge Suite (TMWSIY)> Meatstick If the Shoe Fits Hopefully theres some really good LSD going around too and the old heads are tripping for the first time in 20 years
  5. I must be the only one that actually really likes the song and video but I felt the same way about Duquesne Whistle so wtf do I know. I know I don't think Dylan does himself or his audience one single bit of justice really anymore with his live shows. Not sure what his motivations are but I will never understand why he does what he does now live.
  6. holy mother of jeebus. Where did you see Hendrix?? Can you tell us a story?? Did you ever catch Zeppelin?? Early, small Springsteen shows??
  7. speaking of bits or teases of songs I think I remember a Supplication tease in Kansas (??) in either 1990 or 91.......... Having only started seeing them in 87 I wanted to hear a Lazy Lighting and/or Supplication SOOOOOOOOOO bad but I swear if I remember correctly (I was on like the 10th row) the entire rest of the band started playing it and Weir literally went and sat in front of the drums as if to say "Aint no way" and they segued into some Jerry tune. I cant remember exactly how it went down but as far as I know that is the first and last Supplication since like 83 or something maybe??
  8. I don't care for post Brent Dead and definitely not post Jerry but these shows might be fun ONLY because Trey and Hornsby and both drummers are playing. I wouldn't want to be anywhere other than that front pit, or maybe some lower level side seats............otherwise count me out. Been there, done that sort of thing............. One thing is for sure. There will be some fun positive energy when they hit the stage with all the lead up to the shows.
  9. on Wilcos website it has all 4 nights of GOTV listed..................... I mean there aint no way they are playing that fest for 4 straight days/nights is it???
  10. wait im forgetting INXS and The GoGos at Kings Dominion which was an ALLSOME show by the way. Somehow I was leaning against the stage getting by 8th grade mind (((blown)))
  11. I think that 83 Kinks tour might have been my first show too......I was 13 but I remember it was LOUDER THAN LIVING HELL!! Somewhere around that time I caught Hall and Oates and Lionel Ritchie and the reformed Monkees................haha I cant remember which was first.......... Then came REM with Minutemen opening and it was all good from there. Ive seen at least 3 or 400 shows easy. 110+ GD
  12. Whos a holier Reverend???? Reverend Al Sharpton or Reverend Billy Graham? There are audio files available if you need help with the answer
  13. I absolutely worship this song............. When I first got this album I think I played that one like ten times a day for at least a month while I was writing some test scripts at work. Ive done this with a lot of Wilco songs but for some reason I just could never get enough I wanted to post a link but I cant anymore for some reason. The mods may have cut me off In fact I think ive even done this subject before so I might be in trouble again already.
  14. what if you set it to shuffle and Wilcos "Less than you think" came on??
  15. dang that cartoon shut everyone up
  16. ha ha I sold three hundred hits of great lsd a day at soldier field with no problem! I would get a sheet for 70 bucks and sell it 2 for 5 and 10 for 20. kept gas in the tank and tickets in my pocket I had the best system to stay away from the cops ever (especially at stadiums) I would go to the outer reaches of the parking lot and as people pulled in, parked and got out of their cars I would ask them if they needed any good acid (and it was GOOD) and 50 percent minimum were always like HELLS YES!. That way I knew they weren't cops and I also was a million miles from "shakedown" where all the
  17. Consistently ALLSOME!!!! Every song is absolutely terrific. Short and to the fugging point! And if Brian Henneman really played lead on all but one track then he gets my vote in my top 20 of all times guitarists. Every single solo is tight and beautiful. 1."I Must Be High" – 2:592."Casino Queen" – 2:453."Box Full of Letters" – 3:054."Shouldn't Be Ashamed" – 3:285."Pick Up the Change" – 2:566."I Thought I Held You" – 3:497."That's Not the Issue" – 3:198."It's Just That Simple" (John Stirratt) – 3:459."Should've Been in Love" – 3:3610."Passenger Side" – 3:3311."Dash 7" – 3:2912."Blue Eyed Sou
  18. OH LORD!! I know I didn't see tinnitus photography on the politics thread
  19. I think The Smiths should get 50000 times the amount of votes that Green Day does.

  21. that NPR deal from Seattle is absolutely unreal
  22. good lord. watching the Everybody Here Wants You doc on youtube. Im old enough to have seen him but wasn't there yet. I wish.
  23. I would love to have seen all the Govt Mule redneck hippie types (not that theres anything wrong with that) during Misunderstood That was one of the first songs I saw at the 930 club that turned me from jambands to Wilco and 100 other bands. I just couldn't believe the ending. It really was life changing for me.
