I think this is far and away Beck's best album. Love it.

I think Wilco has been through enough lineup changes, problems, and internal disputes that Jeff doing a solo album really wouldn't change anything. Nels, Glenn, Pat and John all have their own thing. If Jeff wanted to do something on his own, I'm sure none them would have a problem with it. They would probably encourage him, if anything.

If anyone is interested, you can get a podcast of Iron and Wine live from the 9:30 Club on 9/29. I am behind on listening to some of my podcasts, but I am interested to hear what his live shows sound like.

They seemed to suck a lot of the energy out of the album version.

Phonograph's entire October schedule has no shows listed as of now. They have toured with Wilco some in the past. I hope it turns out to be them, because I would really like to see them live.
