  1. The post of Nora Zehetner reminded me of this... If you have ever watched Everwood: Emily VanCamp...what a body...and the same age as I am, if that counts for anything.
  2. It's the front of the new Of Montreal album, and it's considerably more fun to look at than KB's penis.
  3. Your wish is my command...I give you Wayne Coleman...
  4. That's great news DrNo. I'm goin to the Salt Lick tomorrow night...mmm.
  5. I really want to skip class and go home and watch it before it gets taken off...

  7. A few friends are coming down from St. Louis and since it was a last minute thing, we have neither badges nor wristbands. If our expectations are low (ie not getting into any big shows) will there still be plenty for us to do if we go downtown and mull around. I'm just lookin for recomendations for those of us going down there with nothin.
  8. Did anybody catch Conan last night? I tivo'd it but I haven't got a chance to watch it yet. How did they do?
  9. This is going to be my first time attending too. Anyone attending the Guitartown party? I'm planning to shoot that with a few other people.
  10. I'm not sure, though somebody told me at the Autumn Defense show that Pat was in his early 50's...surely not... Edit: Just checked wikipedia...Pat was born in '69...that's what I thought. Wikipedia don't lie.
  11. Went to the Austin show. You're not going to hear any Wilco songs, but it is well worth the 12 bucks for the ticket. You get to see John and Pat in a small environment in a band that sounds like they should be playing to 4,000 instead of 40. I wouldn't miss it.
  12. Nice one. I didn't even think of him.
  13. Levon Helm Jeff Mangum Rick Danko John Lennon Jeff Tweedy Van Morrison David Bowie Britt Daniel Jeff Buckley Solomon Burke Otis Redding
  14. I would definitly go, seeing Stirratt and Sansone in such a small environment (likely with few other people) is a great experiance. The whole band was very tight and they sounded really good. A bargain for 12 bucks.
  15. That line just made me mad. I'm having a bad series of days and I've been a little on edge. I just don't feel like we should have any right to tell anyone else (especially established musicians like JT) what kind of records they should be making. I completly respect Jethro's opinion about the quality of the songs. Sorry for being an asshole this morning.
  16. Jethro, go write an album you can enjoy yourself and quit bitching to us about Jeff's apparant inability to move you anymore. It boggles my mind that after the albums this man has released, you can still sit there and think you have the authority to give him some "pro tips" on his songwriting and his manner on stage. I don't want to go and defend something I haven't heard, because none of us have heard to album yet. But there is not a single person in music today I trust as much as Jeff Tweedy, and it's his choice to put "slow, boring songs" on his records if he wants to. He has had pretty g
  17. I just cracked up in the middle of the library. WAH
  18. #1-Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Runners up: Whiskeytown - Strangers Almanac Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain ...Trail of Dead - Source Tags and Codes
  19. I use DR Rare (13) and really love those. Kind of pricey if I remember right but worth it.
  20. But how can you not love Reservations....how.
  21. Good Job. It took me a little while before I got the intro down exactly like Jeff plays it, but just embellish as much as you can during that opening part. It's a good song to take your time with. My vocal approach is usually more like Jeffs, but it was interesting hearing somebody actually "sing" it, if you know where I'm coming from.
  22. Is this the same on posted a few weeks ago on here? The link is el deado.
