Capo on 2nd fret. Low E 1-2-3-4 while picking up the A and D string open between each. Sounds perfect to me.

Just got the highest netflix account (4 movies at a time, unlimited) and wondered what recommendations you guys had. My first four movies I got in were: Drugstore Cowboy Max Man in the Sand: Billy Bragg and Wilco The Grifters Open to anything you guys think is great.

I think the term you are looking for is "Music Nerd/Geek", not "Music Dork". People shouldn't refer to themselves as dorks. Thanks for sharing though (though this probably should go into the after the show section ) Nevertheless, you did use a Lily Allen quote to describe a Jeff Tweedy show, which can't be easy.

Yeah, I couldn't for a while but I finally got it in my head. So satisfying.

I finally learned this song a few days ago on guitar and can't stop playing it.

I have Being There on vinyl but I don't have a turntable right now. I'll take it over to a friends and report back on what I hear.

they have yet to change my life though, unfortunatly.

Am I missing something...

Finally got it on netflix. Worth the watch alone for Jeff's performances, and Billy is bearable most of the time, but Nora drove me nuts.

I watched that movie too much as a kid.

Mr. Fricke I presume?

God that's awesome.

Added that to my "phrases to use this week in general conversation" along with 'The heat of the meat is directly proportional to the angle of the dangle and the mass in the ass'(thanks mr. Tweedy for that).

Wayne Campbell: She's a babe. Garth Algar: She's magically babelicious. Wayne Campbell: She tested very high on the stroke-ability scale. --- No I don't watch the show. I will admit to watching Dawson's Creek occassionally on TBS at 8:30AM to reminisce. Oh Joey...

Charlie Louvin & Jeff Tweedy - Great Atomic Power

Definitly waiting for this. Saw Charlie in Nashville a few months ago the same night as Emmylou Harris with my folks. -
Excellent job man. What guitar are you using on that?
-
I wonder if that's on his list of "song's he doesn't like", like the ones marked out on the Nashville setlist. I can't imagine why it would be... hmm

That was Brian, not me. Give credit where credits due. Edit: The show just finished downloading. It sounds incredible. I don't know what more to say about it, but this is one of already one of the best recordings I have of Jeff. Can't wait to hear the second night.
-
Hey Brian, I just emailed you. I was the guy sitting behind you. Thanks for the setlist, welcome to VC. The recording sounds great, I guess you can take it from here instead of email me about it. Thanks again.

btw, what are those resteraunts Jeff mentioned he went to. I've lived here for about a half a year and pretty much stick only to Matt's El Rancho, Vinny's and The Salt Lick because my roomate won't eat anywhere else (not complaining though).
