Nice, thanks MeGusta. I get to see Emmylou Harris at the Ryman friday night, should be a good time.

And while your at it...I'm going to Nashville in a few days, besides Gibson, anyone got any good ideas?

That's kind of unfair. You need to have standards...and I have to whole-heartedly agree with Caliber66 on this one, stick a fork in Mellencamp.

Sometimes I wish I was Jewish. Conformation is equal amounts preperation but short on the rewards. Oh well.

If anyone sees this show up on Youtube or anything make sure to post it. Or if anyone has the file. The only night I decide to not watch Conan this week they have to be on =( Edit: I just got it on Bittorrent. Wow. That was a great performance.

Poor cat . I just try to remind myself that it's a cat made out of construction paper.

Say "Pussy Cat" in a Middle Eastern accent. Play on words maybe. Just my uneducated guess. Could refer to a sea-poose some way, but I'm not sure how.

- Is the camera going to be moving around or stationary? If your cameraman is going to be moving around handheld or steadicam you could do a left channel recording with a shotgun mic and place a lav on one of the cashiers or cooks if you felt nessisary. Your soundman will be able to follow the action with his boom and you will probably have a better idea of what you are capturing. -Do you need to be discreet or will they allow you to move around the workers and customers with your equipment? If they will let you move around, you might be best off with what I mentioned above. If not, you c -
The song kind of reminds me of the style Trail of Dead have been going for lately (which baffles me, but I dunno what I would do either after recording 2 records that they probably will never top...though Tweedy and company sure seem to know how to handle making masterpiece after masterpiece). It's a catchy song though, I like it.

I went from having an IPOD in my car to a 6 cd changer and I cannot tell you how much I miss having all my music with me. I think you should try to replace the battery, or at least pick up on of the cheaper models.

Pat and Nels are there, see the bronze busts. They hide out and protect the Tweedster.

Gob Iron (I think Elvis would come back and open for Wilco before that happened) Limbeck Old Crow Medicine Show The New Amsterdams

Oh I meant he did really great. Sorry for the confusion.

Just got back from the Austin show. Anders opened with a really good solo set and then Jay killed it with some old and new songs. Then Gob Iron played their whole cd and it sounded fantastic. Everyone should definitly pick up the cd. The guy next to me said he talked to the soundboard girl and said Jay took 3 hours to soundcheck and then they rehersed for a few more all the way up until 9:00. Can't say I'm suprised Time for some Oh and Jay played guitar, bass, piano, and drums...

The band I was in for a few years had an Alesis ION, MicroKorg, Korg MS-20, and a Korg Kontrol 49. The ION has a lot of great sounds, but if your wanting to emulate analog instruments it's not the best option. I have a Kontrol49 and Reason 3 and for me it's the best option you can get a absoloutly huge amount of sounds out of it. It's great if you are wanting to use it just at home, or you don't mind lugging a laptop around with you. From what I have seen of the SH-201, its the best of both worlds. Personally, I would go with that over the ION.

Well, I just went to Strait Music and played a Martin OM-18V and it blew everything else I played out of the water. I can't afford to drop the money I would have to on a vintage 45 right now, so this looks like it's what I'm gonna get.

Can't wait for the show Friday at The Parish in Austin. Anybody in the area should go, Jay and Anders are both playing a solo set and then preforming their songs from the new CD.

If you want to pm me with your email I can send you a few wilco wallpapers I use on my MBP that I've made.

My bud from STL went to the show and said the crowd was awful. Trail of Dead have been one of my favorite bands for a long time(more because of their first 3 records, not so much Worlds Apart and So Divided), and all their shows have been awesome, but I'm selling off my 2 tickets to the Austin show and 3 tickets to the Dallas show. Apperantly the Blood Brothers crowd didn't give a whole lot of repsect to ToD and Brothers and Sisters. If anyone is interested in those Dallas tickets let me know.

After thinking about it, and playing all of these models along with new and vintage J-45's (I live in Austin and have 5 nice music stores within a 2 mile radius, it's nutty), I think I've decided to save for a older J-45. It's going to cost me a lot more but it's something I'll be happier with and will be a smart investment.

Awesome man. This put a smile on my face

It would be really great if somebody would try to figure out Acuff Rose in it's entirety. I'll do it if somebody can tell me the tuning it is in. I know theres a Capo on 2nd Fret.
