  1. This keeps coming on tv and I get sucked in and watch it every time. It's incredibly sexy in a very real way.
  2. That Butt Paste really is fantastic stuff.
  3. Very, very cute! Congrats! My daughter had that same sheet once.
  4. Manscaping is an abomination. Men are supposed to have hair on their chests, arms, legs, bathing suit areas and most other places, often including their backs. Give me a burly old school Burt Reynolds over a hairless pubic bone exposing Brad Pitt any day. If I want to feel up someone soft and smooth, I'll get next to a woman, thankyouverymuch.
  5. I think I paid $3.67 last night for the middle stuff. I can't really double-mow my yard because the gas is too much!
  6. My partner always turns to "The Champagne of Beers," Miller High Life, for bargain beer (even though I guess it's socially irresponsible to.) I don't drink beer but as far as cheap is concerned, I am not unfamiliar with Boone's Farm.
  7. This has got to be one of the coolest posts I've ever read. I thoroughly enjoyed it! They had a smoking area at my HS until '96 or so.
  8. I'm totally cool with what Malkmus is doing now, but I think a Pavement show would be fun as hell.
  9. And "Shitlist" and "Shove!" Yessss!!Also, all of Hole's "Live Through This" singles and Veruca Salt's "Seether." Chick musssic, yar!
  10. If anybody is itching for a project and wants to gather all of the songs in this thread into a super-mix, please do. Sendspace it so I can drink too much and rock out '90s style with sing-alongs and everything some time. I'll post video of my performance as thanks. 1) 2) 3)
  11. Edwyn Collins "A Girl Like You" ..."never met a girl like you before..."
  12. CAKE "Sheep Go to Heaven" and a number of their other singles. and Bloodhound Gang "Fire, Water, Burn!"
  13. Letters to Cleo "Here and Now" Portishead "Sour Times" Mazzy Star "Fade Into You" Rage Against the Machine "Bulls on Parade" Sublime "Date Rape" and I also loved that Toadies tune. I remember waiting by my radio for it to come on so I could hit "record" on the tape deck and snag it. I eventually just bought the cassette. edit: I keep having to edit this thing because you've all named my songs!
  14. Yesterday was 4/20! Very funny, but hits* on serious stuff too with regards to medical marijuana and states' rights vs. federal law. *I punned!
  15. Hey now!! Physics is totally exciting! No need to go blaspheming a perfectly good science.
  16. This was fun to watch just because I'm rocking a huge boner for Will Oldham lately, otherwise mehhh... (It's a short little doc, basically a home movie, in which Will is tripping on mushrooms.)
  17. At what point would you make the cutoff? What album would you say they quit being assholes on and I'll decide whether or not I can agree with you on this.
  18. I haven't listened to a Radiohead album since "The Bends." (I was accidentally exposed to singles from OK Computer) Thom Yorke is whiny and it bores me. I couldn't care less about The National or My Morning Jacket. I think Bright Eyes has actually written some really good, catchy tunes. I'm too annoyed by the many young, neo-hippie, Grateful Dead fans I've encountered to ever really give GD a fair shake. Ani Difranco annoys the poo out of me. I can't stand her voice. (I wouldn't feel comfortable telling this to most of my chick friends.)
  19. Finally got around to it last night.
  20. That's fantastic! Thank you! I now have a new favorite online window shopping spot!
  21. I do it nearly every time I hear it. In the car, I sometimes just use one hand and slap my thigh so as not to swerve off of the road.
  22. I've been really swooney over "Waterloo Sunset" lately but I'm irked by the fade-out.
  23. Cute! I bet it used to say "Speedy."
