My partner saw the Simpsons DVD ad on tv a couple of weeks ago and was cracking up at the Spider Pig bit. He'd never seen it before! That's insane! How on Earth did he manage to go so long without seeing that thing (and getting it stuck in his head)!?!?

Starting The L Word Season 2 Now I've only got something like 35 episodes left to watch over the next week and a half to be ready for Season 5!

I've always thought of "the door screams I hate you" as a slamming door. I always imagine it's a screen door that bounces back and slaps against the door frame a couple of time as the person who has slammed it drives away in anger. This probably has nothing to do with the actual song, it's just the visual I get when I hear that line.

That is a tricky situation. I guess this could create an opportunity for lots of parents to have talks about sex and responsibility with their kids, but I imagine most of her fans are really too young to have that conversation?

I can't believe I forgot to mention that I peed on Santa when I was a kid. I don't remember it but we have a photo with me on one knee and my older brother on the other and Santa looks a little uncomfortable. My dad thinks it's hilarious.

Last year did not go so well: (I forgot to prep her for it and just kind of tossed her at him. Neither party was amused.) This year went super swell but I haven't got any pictures right handy of that visit. She told him she wants a puppy and he talked her into a stuffed puppy instead. Go Santa!
