I have to admit, if I had been the store clerk assisting you, I would have been a little freaked out by the crying part. Crying while buying underwear has got to look strange to anyone who doesn't understand what exactly is going down.

A friendly guy who was sitting in front of my friends and I at the Little Rock show (before we high-tailed it down front) works at Heifer (headquartered in Little Rock in a really neat, new, "green" facility.) Democracy Now! is a good one too! Charitable gifts really are the most fun to give. I buy toys to donate every year and I enjoy it immensely because there were several Christmas's when I was a kid where the only things I got were through charitable programs. The charm of shopping for toys has worn off a little in the past few years though, because I'm surrounded by my daughter's 24

Pulp Fiction with Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs following closely behind.

I couldn't vote because I couldn't choose between Star Wars and the Godfather. I love me some Yoda but gosh darn it, I never tire of seeing Michael's transformation.

((((Vibes)))) for getting in. If they don't invite you to join the community, just assume it wasn't going to work out anyway because any group who doesn't want you as a member must actually be a pretty crummy group.

You are Jeff Tweedy.

I say 3 is false. I'll go with 3...maybe you really had flesh-eating bacteria and have only been to 199 Dead shows.

I lol'd also. I do love My Fair Lady. I don't have any pets. I do shave my underarms but I've got nothing against chicks who don't.

I know a fella who actually does have the tail! Last time I was drunk with him, I couldn't stop touching it and encouraging all around me to join in on the touching of it. About me: I love My Fair Lady. I have no pets. I don't shave my underarms.

Books, specifically Leonard Cohen books and some others. Smelly, girly things. New shocks and an alignment on my truck. ...and World Peace and all of that.

Could someone who goes to this kindly swoon over Kim Deal a little on my behalf? Thanks!

To anyone who hasn't seen this yet and is considering seeing it: Please, consider reading the Raymond Carver stories the movie is based on first. They are top notch stuff and will make the movie watching really exciting. Trust me! (Heck, I'll even loan you the book through the mail if you're interested.) Edit: I'll throw Michel Gondry's Human Nature out here as a Netflix reccomendation. It's his first full length film and great and very funny. Charlie Kauffman wrote it.

This vote for the sale thing Amazon does is awesome. Everybody click over to round 6 and vote for the $69 Kitchenaid mixer. I feel like an incomplete woman because I don't have one of those yet, but for $69, I could complete me. Those mixers get me all swoony. It is one foxy piece of classic kitchen gear.

Are those with the BBQ sauce and onion rings?!

Sweet! Thanks, peeps!

One day older then me...you're so totally ancient.

I think it's significant that the Wilco is turned on.

At Dairy Queen, you can get a burger, onion rings, a lemonade, and an ice cream in a kid's meal all for something like $3.50. I regard it as way awesome that they give you ice cream in place of a toy prize and onion rings subbing for fries always floats my boat.

My veggie friends order Big Macs minus the meat. They're charged full price too!

My address is there now! (Jeez, peeps! Have you all got gifts standing by, ready already?)
