I use allrecipes.com a lot. Their "search by ingredient" feature is super helpful as are the user reviews of recipes...they really give you a good idea of what will work and what won't. Chowhound.com is also really cool...a very hip kind of food site with helpful video tips.

When I very was young, one of my much older brothers tried to school me on good music with a truck commercial for example. The guy just chillin' on the hood of his truck cracks me up. I guess they're all really counting on the rest of the nation to look to Iowa for their thoughts on who makes the best nominee. Maybe there should be a poll somewhere that says, "Does the way Iowa goes influence your perception of the candidates at all?" I don't know about the rest of them, but Obama's campaign people are sure enthusiastic about Iowa. They send out e-mail notices on it constantly, "Iowa is only (fill in amount here) weeks/days away! Donate $25 now!!!"

Saw them with Mountain Goats recently. Cool sounds, reminded me of Andrew Bird (think it is vocal similarities). A friend who was at the show with me thought it a travesty that they were opening for Mountain Goats and not the other way around because he thought they were 10x better.

Really is the best of the holiday tunes.
