  1. When I first heard Sufjan Stevens' Illinoise! album, I was floored. I thought it was great, a little excessive, but great. And I was intrigued and thrilled that he would be making an album for all 50 states (or so he said), now that promise is becoming more of a threat. He's very prolific, which is a good thing, but there is just too much music!!!
  2. I don't know what all the bitching is about, but... just wanted to say thanks for posting this!
  3. Let's Fight should've been on there. Oh well...this seems like a more mellow album than AGIB, I can't wait!
  4. I think Jeff said "I wondered, is the ATM evil, or is it just blue?" was a main point of this song...
  5. If I was lucky enough to meet John and Pat...asking them to autograph Kicking Television...good move, bad move?
  6. I think Let's Fight was one of the stronger tunes. Really great...
  7. Yes, like Jimmy Vaughan. This man sucks. He's living off his brother's name. I saw him open for Dylan this summer...pathetic. Uses a capo on Texas Flood, and has the brightest, shittiest sound. He's a cocky bastard with bad tone....
  8. agreed. It's not a bad song, but I prefer the others to it thus far...
  9. nope. I saw them three years ago for $18 in Boston. Not bad...but I wouldn't pay anymore than what I did. You're basically paying to see the aging process.
  10. I know huh? I'm dying for some new tunes.
  11. Once again, everybody shits on John Mayer. He's a really good guitarist, truthfully. And Jack White has never really impressed me that much.
  12. I've been listening to the Born Again in the USA album a lot lately, and this song always sounds like a School House Rock song. haha
  13. that's cool. I'd buy it just for the pictures.
  14. this past summer in Florence, I said to Jeff "nice beard.", he goes "no it's not" I thought that was hilarious
  15. I just realized how good of a tune this one is. John's high harmony still throws me off a bit (they're no Eagles lol) but the song itself is really great. I dunno why, but I thought I'd share this. Wayne
  16. Yes folks, you read that right. A British publishing company is opening a public hotline specifically designed as grief counseling if Harry Potter dies in the last installment of his book series... http://www.novinite.com/view_news.php?id=76266
  17. I've been playing a lot of O'Rourke lately, good stuff.
