Alright folks, it's winter. How cold are you? What's the temp? Boston- currently 15 degrees.

cool, I'll check out the Paradise show!

Although he creeps me out, I must admit that Prince is an amazing guitarist!

I genuinely dislike Billy Bragg as a musician, he's stuck in this romantic mindset that America is still crawling with trobadours hoping on freight trains. lol The documentary didn't impress me very much, I found Wilco's parts to be good, but I felt that they were portrayed as "some young kids just goin' along for the ride"
-
yeah, they never go to Chicago...
-
I have the same John Lennon acoustic somebody posted earlier, I also have an Ibanez acoustic, but my main instrument is bass: Fender Jazz Bass (American, 01) Fender '51 Precision Bass Jay Turser Hofner bass Amp: Ampeg B-100 R

Hopefully Brown in Providence, and some cool theatres up north.
-
never. I did hear an advertisement for their live show in Providence once. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TOUR!
-
well played my friend.
-
man, Side with the seeds is so good.
-
C'mon, admit it, a one off Uncle Tupelo show would be pretty cool.
-
I've got Being There on vinyl, and it sounds fine. I actually thought it sounded fresher than the cd.

I too had a brain fart for some reason I got Emerson college and BU confused.
-
haha, you are persistant. The only reason I think it's Cambridge is because it's over the bridge, and the Paradise and MiddleEast are listed as under Cambridge.
-
it's technically in Cambridge I believe.

so many people have said "In My Life" by The Beatles, and I find it hilarious. Because the Beatles wrote that song in the studio to fill out the album. It was considered a throw-away. I believe there's an article somewhere in which Lennon said they used the typical "Beatles' formula"

Green Onions is a kicking song, but I doubt it would be anybody's favorite. For rock n' roll, I'm going with Born to Run by BRUUUUCCE! R&B- What's Goin' On?- marvin gaye

all this talk about Wilco touring makes me antsy for Spring to arrive and the guys to tour the US again...
-
I too prefer the studio version. It's much more eery.
-
thanks so much Analogman!
-
thumbs down on that list. how about Larry Carlton's solo on Kid Charlamegne by Steely Dan?
-
I love it in the new key that he plays it in on the dvd.
