The blues belong in St.Louis, I just wish they got more of a draw. I'd like to see a team for Maine...or is that too close to Boston?

hahaha! But if Syndey Crosby was a penguin...he'd find a way

reminds me of what Elvis Costello is doing now adays...

	I read that too...it's a shame they can't stay at Mellon's Arena...

Walked out of the Jay Bennett show at the Middle East this year. Walked out of the blues band Indigenous...too effing loud. Walked out of a Dave Matthews concert, too many alpha males...

All I really want are some US tour dates...

man, how I'd love to hear Up The Junction live!

It does suck that the Pens may be leavin Pittsburgh. But on the bright side, perhaps the Whaler's will come back to CT, that would make a great Bruins rivalry!

JerseyMike, I too applaud your post!

Led Zeppelin is one of the most overrated bands in rock music, as is Pink Floyd. And I love Floyd. But c'mon... Seriously, Pro-tools is not a new evil. Simon and Garfunkel would punch in every word on their records. It took Boston 7 years to record their first record... and as for Wilco not having influence...I don't even know where to begin...

never got into Radiohead...I kinda think Thom Yorke takes himself too seriously. I mean, eventually, the guy is going to have to smile! He has to deal with that! Wilco is indeed the best band around, dare I say ever.

I don't know how I missed this thread earlier. I'm a lifelong Bruins fan, waiting for my cup. Last time they were there, I was 2...

I think Poor Places is a good example of how Wilco can change a simple progression to something awesome, with the I-V-VI-IV-II..when I first heard that I almost died

For you folks who missed the album's premiere, here's another chance to catch it!

Wilco is SO much better than The Band in my opinion. I won't go into why for fear of death threats...

Garageband is very unprofessional. We use Finale and Reason for writing stuff out. But for this project, all we needed was Garageband.

I can totally see hamsters dancing to that!

So, for writing skills this semster, our mid-term was to recreate the first 16 (or so) bars of a song with a strong bass and drum part. Not neccesarily flashy, but strong. Then we had to record the background instruments just to compliment the drums and bass. I chose Jesus, Etc. I was wondering what you guys thought. I had to change the arrangement a bit to fit in with the melody in the given 16 bars. But I recorded it all using Garage Band and my Oxygen 8 midi keyboard http://www.sendspace.com/file/s90fas
