I’m curious to see how those of you that have done one of these dealt with the water issue. Is there any food you have to avoid because of it? I’ve clearly never been to Mexico so this may be a stupid question!

I think the price point limits it to a certain demographic, which I wouldn't imagine includes a bunch of spring breaker 20-somethings.

A lot of bands do these now, Phish has been doing it for years. I think it is just the new norm. Most of the fan bases are older, have more disposable income, and might want to make a vacation out of it. I don't think it has anything to do with selling out.

I've been tempted to do the Phish one the last couple of the years and the wife likes Wilco a hell of a lot more than she likes Phish, so I'm going to try to make this happen too. Plus Yo La Tengo!

Now that is a great idea (that will likely never happen). I’m struggling to think of any artist that does that besides Uncle Neil.

Tweedy will be playing Out of Space at Canal Shores Golf Course in Evanston on 8/10 and looking at Wilco's website, it appears as though it will actually be Tweedy and not Jeff solo!

I saw Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets last Thursday and if you are a fan of early Floyd I can't recommend it enough. Awesome show.

One of the few times there's been a must have RSD release for me and i'm nowhere near a damn record store! Hopefully they're still available on Monday.

Heard White Wooden cross for the first time this past weekend at the Vic and am a little surprised/bummed that it’s not on the Warmer track list.

I'm not sure if it was the crowd, the fact that he was in the groove from being on tour, or the song selection, but this was my favorite benefit weekend in a LONG time.

During question time tonight someone needs to ask him when Wilco is touring the US!

Great show. Not a lot of banter compared to years past, which I was actually ok with, and most importantly a really good, respectful crowd for the most part. I love that this run is in the middle of his tour, his voice and playing were really in “game shape”, no rust to shake off.

Crazy Fingers and Fire are two of my favorites haha. I 100% agree with Deal and post 73 Tennessee Jeds though, just kind of boring. I'm kind of over Jack Straw as well.
