You are right, the tix for The Auditorium will even be hard to get judging from the Millienium Park concert. I got last years Thanksgiving tix pretty easily. Things have changed. I like the Auditorium, its nice. I would take a solo Tweedy show right now over Wilco cause I just saw them in Sept.

I've never used iTunes, dont they only use AAC files or something? Someone here's gotta have the album.

Why would you wanna hear those pops and cracks anyways if you dont have to? You think even with the AUD recordings, that the recorder doesnt do what he or she can to make it sound better? It is filtered and mastered to their ability. Just when you spend more money, you can get professionals with better equipment doing a better job. Also the CDs used for retail are much better quality, unlike and CDR you can buy. So I think you are standing for something that doesnt make sense. I dont understand why mastering the sound of a live recording to make it sound cleaner and better is not what the show sounded like. Whatever tweaks they do is for better listening enjoyment. Why would they change the sound of the concert?

Well I'm all for releasing mastered live shows. The more the merrier. I think it sounds better when professionally mastered. KT sounds awesome. I do own alot of bootlegs that I downloaded from torrents, but why not have it available in stores also. I do agree Wilco doesnt mix things up like Phish did, so probably just a few select good ones would be nice.

Yeah I saw video cameras there. But yeah nothing to the effect of a professional recording. Probably show up as a bootleg. Hope he got the whole show though.

Welcome to Wilco world. There is also the Mermaid Ave discs that is a MUST! It is with Billy Bragg and there are 2 volumes. It is Woody Guthrie lyrics that were never made into songs. Classic Jeff songs on there. Then there is Golden Smog. One thing. You mentioned - The Thanks I get is your fav on Sky Blue Sky, but its not on there. Am I missing something cause mine doesnt have that song.

I only heard those two songs during sound check. I did go down to the Park n Grill bar after Cars Cant Escape so I couldve missed some soundcheck songs, but I imagine they practiced on songs they havent played in awhile. I felt like having a few beers on that beautiful day.

Great Show!! I got hear my request "Cars Cant Escape" twice. Once during reherasal, then again during live show. I arrived early so I was in the area when they were practicing and heard them play Cars and Box Full of Letters and thought, Hey I got my song already. I did think in the beginning it was gonna be the Steely Dan cover, Any Major Dude will Tell you, like someone ealier mentioned. that wouldve been cool too. I liked On and On and On. Nice venue on a perfect day. I still thought the sound at Bonnaroo was the best. Bonnaroo music is the best sounding concerts in the universe.

If "The Thanks I Get" is a great song but I dont think they should put it on their new album. Should be new songs. That song been out there for awhile now. Shouldve been on SBS if any, but I guess it didnt fit in. I would be suprised if any new album comes out, probably wont be till next spring at earliest. I do think they should start releasing more live albums like Phish and Pearl Jam did. Jeff solo live would do very well I think.
