i love manny. sportscenter ran a top 10 of "manny" moments last night, and it brought tears to my eyes.

supergrass was a good opener, and radiohead sounded great that night. light rain. i loved it.

or matt murton or corey patterson's brother. i would rather have willie mcgee in center.

our local news played with their new radars from 11:08pm on. i missed both performances, and the storms were mostly in alabama anyway. unbelievable.

waterworld. it gets better each viewing. sort of like glitter.

he is great, especially live. when he was playing with dan baird, the live show was very strong. he had "major label" release with a different band a few years ago that was not nearly as good. but he has a great voice and with a good band is a lot of fun.

i saw them last night in nashville and they played at least 90 minutes. the new stuff sounded great live and the bbs material was a blast. very odd and entertaining version of broken boy soldier. was surprised how many of the songs off the new album brendan benson sang.

no. not really. but to endure both the highs and lows with dusty is not something i am eager to do again anytime soon.

i do not have the math to back it up but suspect that dusty cost the cubs between 35-50 games a season.

i really am enjoying this one and agree that this record sounds more like a full band than the previous one. would be interested to know whether the songwriting credits are broken down differently than bbs.

i saw the red sox play in ft myers a couple of weeks ago and moss hit an opposite field home run very deep. he appears to have real deal power.
