1. DJ Jason Rockpig from student radio station 95bFM (NZ)was playing Monday and Misunderstood for a couple of months before Summerteeth came out. I remember wondering if the guy on the back cover was Rivers Cumo from Weezer. Thought maybe it was some side project. It wasn't. 2. I don't hear much negativity. Posts about the one song off the album that we've heard has been overwhelmingly positive. Not one person has said that they hate it thus far. 'Eh it's o.k' is the most negative criticism I've seen for it yet. As for the limited peek we've had at other tracks. I feel like in terms of numbers posts have been 30% super psyched 60% this not bad/ pretty good 10% This is doing nothing for me. I had a go in another thread but I can't remember which one. I heard; My Magna Carta's on the slim jim... I like the solar cars line but I also think this is the sort of song that can benefit from vagueness and mishearing. This made me think, have all of their albums had the official lyrics included with the packaging? I haven't checked out official lyrics sheets so I probably have a few wrong lyrics between my ears.

Thanks Real Revival I hadn't seen it. I like the acoustic version quite a lot, so pretty and being much slower it shows off the beauty of the lyrics. But with the band on it it gains an extra dose of epicality. I also feel this song could easily work at a more aggressive tempo too. Would be a good contender for a punked up version that's what I reckon.

I don't know for sure but I would doubt anyone but Liam played the drums on it. Maybe little brother. I do know Roll Of The Eye and Chase The Seasons and Don't Even Know Your Name are my faves at the moment but the whole thing is solid. Anyone planning to checkout his Solid Sound slot?
