  1. Whats the deal with pre orders on itunes? Is it cheaper than buying it on release day or are the bonus track's only going to be available with the pre order?
  2. Does anybody else not like extra tracks tacked on at the end of an album? When the album ends I don't want it rolling over to some bonus track no matter how good it might be.
  3. Yeah Force 3000. I wish I had the matching snare for the kit though and I wouldn't mind a 16inch tom to go with it.

  7. It's a shame I thought she might have a great album still in her.Very sad.
  8. Yeah I've just been listening to the this too. The Marc Maron and Zach Galifianakis ones. This Howard guy is funny...also checked out the sklarbro county podcast which is fun too although the American sports are confusing to me.
  9. You're to soon Jules. Still 10 months to go.
  10. Bryan Adams - Reckless. The big hits I haven't bothered to revisit but Kids Wanna Rock, Ain't Gonna Cry and It's Only Love with Tina Turner are all good songs. I was surprised how hard it rocks for 1984. Bob Clearmountain produced it.
  11. This was the first album I got on cassette with my own pocket money. Interesting to see how it holds up in it's own way. The last 5 songs are a lot of fun. Like if the Replacements were too ambitious instead of not ambitious enough.
  12. Saw John Fogerty a few years ago and he had an awesome band. I've never seen Credence Clearwater Revisited. Tom had quit the band by the time they recorded their best album Pendulum and then when Doug and Stu got creative control Mardi Gras happened. I'm just saying they didn't seem to be like AC/DC or the Stones in the way there input balanced out. Anyway hope that John keeps putting out music, if its with Doug and Stu that would be fine by me. The have my permission.
  13. Some pics of my kit and recording studio or what is left of it. Sadly the Studio is now closed and I'll be pulling the remaining gear out and selling off bits and pieces. Probably keep the drums and a few mics though.

  15. Hahahahaha probably be the easiest way to get tickets now going by some accounts.
  16. Will be a big deal financially. Musically, probably not as much. John still has that great voice and energy though.
  17. Found this little video about the wingsuit guys in the movie. They jumped off the Sears? tower. I guess this doesn't fit in the 'things to do in Chicago' category though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcP1XPTQJyo&feature=player_embedded
  18. Got myself a second hand Panasonic LX3 yesterday. It has far to many buttons. Went to my favourite park One Tree Hill which was busy despite the gloomy winter weather. I took some pictures of trees and got bored very quickly. People are more interesting I think. I don't know what I'm doing but it's fun. My respect for real photographers just went up a notch.
  19. Saw the movie but I couldn't tell you what was what. There was some mention of a Trump tower or something and another building they named which I can't remember. Also a few seconds of what looked like the buildings on the cover of YHF but stuff was flying and exploding.
  20. Are there still places worth seeing in Chicago after those rascally Transformers blasted through the place? I seriously hope everyone's o.k. Especially the loft.
  21. Utrolig is a good word. Wilco are utrolig.
