Yeah hopefully Flying Nun has a good future now that Shepard is back in control. I should mention Loves Ugly Children as the biggest influence on my teenage years. Their album Cakehole was souped up teenage desperation par excellence. To my mind songs like Senseless, Personal World and City That Shines captured those 90s perfectly.
