  1. Any review that doesn't mention One Sunday Morning in the text is an automatic failure. How can you not mention the most iconic song on the record? Fail
  2. well the I might single was available at SOlid Sound before release. I was hoping they would throw us a bone so I can hear the new Deluxe tracks!!
  3. when you consider the age of both albums it seems strange that they would only play 1 track off that album..it's clearly not a fan favorite.
  4. ha..see only 1 songs from Wilco (TA)..what did I tell you guys? They know the album sucked!
  5. will copies of the album be available at the show?
  6. I said to myself that the longest songs on the album end too early, I just don't want them to end
  7. If wilco ever breaks up, Im sure Jeff will continue to write and perform music. It's not all about the flash to me, in general he writes great folk songs. I don't think that will ever change.
  8. I'm telling you, play "I might" and you'll see hear the difference instantly. The 128 rip is extremely muted. There are tracks where I can hear the backing instruments, but they are very shallow. When we finally get a proper rip, those details will really pop.
  9. Its a digital imprint on the album, so if you share it they can track down who they gave it to. In most cases you could loose advance privileges, which is a must for journalists, or they could technically sue you, but that doesn't happen often/ever.
  10. I'm surprised they went through so much this time around. I guess they were burned when the last two leaked 2 months early.
  11. Wow a month? So are the advanced copies water marked? It's pretty odd that it did not leak before this. Wilco must have had some strict legal wording in it's mailer. Personally I am jealous that you have heard the album with proper production quality. The rip that I have is garbage.
  12. There is a webrip floating around if you really want to hear it, but it's not the best quality. If you listen to the Official release of I might and the webrip you'll notice a huge fidelity downgrade...still having it in my IPod/Car has definitely been nice. Can't wait for the real thing and the bonus tracks.
  13. I think there review of SBS was too low, and their review of WIlco the album is too high.
  14. pitchfork has been pretty terrible for recent wilco albums. I think they gave Ghost is Born and Sky Blue Sky a 6 and Wilco the album a 7...so yeah, they don't really know anything.
  15. actually this is pretty common, and it has to do with space available on the Vinyl. The CD tracklist should be considered the "official" tracklisting.
  16. I understand that you have opinions, but I think comparing every song you don't like to something off SBS or WTA is a tad off base. Some of the songs remind me more of Summer Teeth and Being There, I don't think anything on here would have fit WTA. SBS, maybe. I also think SBS is a great album, and Open Mind (which is probably the most SBS song on here) is great.
  17. I like to think of the album as less of a career defining record and more a career affirming record. This is what Wilco (TA) should have been. It's a stellar record, I don't think there is a bad song on the album.
  18. Ok I give up, best album since GiB
  19. Standing O is the perfect example, if you hear this album in the background it sounds pretty generic, but throw on a good pair of headphones and you'll realize just how much is going on in this song. Really dig it
  20. One thing, this is definitely there most headphones album since Ghost is born. Lots of layers on pretty much every song.
  21. everything on this album is better than You and I and You Never Know
