  1. Bonus tracks depends on the album...for instance The Suburbs has a definite beginning and end and the recent deluxe edition that has two bonus tracks completely ruins that flow. If it screws up the flow I usually just put them in a second folder and label it "B-Sides"
  2. Its definitely a tease, but it really sounds awesome. So is this the first time we've heard Art of Almost in any shape or form?
  3. Any chance someone recorded this? Would love to hear it
  4. 1. I had heard bits and pieces of both Being There and Summerteeth while in college in 1997..then someone bought my girlfriend Mermaid Ave as a gift right when it came out. We liked it but only listened to it a few times..then I read all about YHF..and bought it a few weeks after release based on all the great reviews..bought the rest of their catalog within a month. Saw them live at the Carefree Theater in Florida during the YHF tour...they played inside a movie theater and we were in the 4th row...pretty much was sold after that. I've seen them 4 times total.
  5. I am a big deerhoof fan, so I had heard this song with their vocals many times already. It's kinda weird hearing Jeff sing it. His voice doesn't really fit their sound, but it's still cool that they did this. The other tracks seems like they were just having fun, not much substantial about it
  6. Never..when it came out I actually took the track and edited out the feedback..so it no longer exists on my burned copy..I almost forgot about it completely until i purchased the album on vinyl
  7. Going to just download the ITunes Deluxe and if I really like the album i will pick up the Vinyl. I didn't buy Wilco (the album) on vinyl either and am very happy about that. That way I'll hear all the tracks and won't have to worry about all this package crap
  8. I understand the reason behind it, but that doesn't make it any less irritating. I don't need to share your migraine Jeff.
  9. I love Wilco but that was definitely their most pretentious moment of their career. The only annoying track on SBS is Shake it Off.
  10. Not if you hit the skip button once the noise starts. ...and it's time for Late Greats.
  11. Ha ha..I thought the same thing. More power to them...as long as the songs are actually good and not completely annoying like that one track on GIB.
  12. I'm happy to see Wilco grab number 6 on the readers poll. I'm fine with Aeromsith being number 2..as they are definitly an iconic American band...I just think they are terrible.
  13. love Deerhoof...not sure how this will sound though.
  14. after the lack luster Wilco (TA) I think I may hold off on pre-ordering the vinyl until I actually hear it. Im running out of room in my cabinet.
  15. The new album was gonna be called Get Some Tote Bags Everyone...but they decided on The Whole Tote Bag instead.
  16. Lol..yeah I don't really need another Tote Bag...Wilco just loves to make these things. I think. Pre order bundle should come with bonus tracks or a DVD. Dont really need another Wilco Tshirt or Eco bag.
  17. FYI not sure if posted but a banner on the Wilco Store days the Whole Love Pre Order Store opens July 26th...limited edition bundles, and weekly Drawings for prizes mentioned. I wonder if their will be a Vinyl Bundle..
  18. How was Thruston Moore? What about John Hodgemen?
  19. This is so much better then a camel.
  20. For some reason it reminds me of the video game Shadow of the Collosus.
  21. That signed Wilco 7 inch is HOT
  22. The entire "Being There" double CD actually fits on one CD!! I never understood this. Double album used to mean that it fit over 2 vinyl..which is definitly the case with an hour long record. Still calling it a double album in this day in age is a stretch. Considering there are two epic songs...I doubt I will feel the album is too short. Also that paves the way for more releases like a live EP down the road.
