where does Creedence Clearwater Revival fit into this? (uh you know, 20 hits in the top 10 is not a small feat) and as far as early 80s go, Journey was huge, i mean HUGE. ok stop laughing. -

do 2 or more string solos. it can be done, but you have to be able to play in certain keys; another option would be to begin playing songs in open tunings. play with your dynamics, quiet / mid / loud .... there really is a lot you can do with 2 instruments, it takes some inventiveness however. keep at it. i have buddies that were the 'proto' white stripes. the guitarist split his guitar so one amp was cranked with bass frequencies, the other with higher, i think he used a octave pedal too. the drummer played drums and keyboards at the same time. it was an interesting combo & the

mach III all the way. damned things are so expensive, but such a good shave ... -
glad someone else out there recognizes eno's genius ... also, 801 Live is a pretty much awesome live album. eno does some of his 70s album tracks and also a terrific cover of 'tomorrow never knows'.

I wouldn't say I'm a bear, but reality (e.g. *a correction*) has a way of catching up with you, especially in an economy. How long can a nation dodge economic fundamentals? I guess we are going to find out.

Wow, I think I lost a few brain cells reading that (the foxnews link, that is).

I'm no economist or expert, but if you have the head of the Fed Reserve saying 'slowdown coming up' it doesn't sound like a rosy boom happening. The dollar is weak, the u.s. has borrowed to the hilt, 'experts' are talking about inflation coming down the road --- seems kinda scary to me.

what trips me out about TVZ is that he must have made some good money from Pancho and Lefty and yet he seems like he didn't really spend much of it...

i am actually selling mine right now on ebay---because i need some $$, not because it is a bad guitar. actually the one i have is well built & plays well. has a good vintage tone. no big complaints, only that the tremelo bar tends to throw it out of tune when used.
