  1. I'm ready to relayte to some shit. Like now. Cmon 4/20.
  2. not something i think i'd listen to very often, but pretty cool. i'd give it a B rating.
  3. the album, or the destruction of the english language i just read?
  4. i just want to say that if you went into it expecting the greatest thing ever, of course it'd fail you. but that's not the record's fault. every song on there is really catchy and creative and good. maybe go into it with a more open mind. i had the exact same reaction the first time i listened to the record.
  5. i'm gonna go ahead and say that sometimes feelings are wrong, and you DID kill my buzz. i don't like them at all now. look what you did. seriously though, it's a good record. why do we have to go any further than that? anyway, i'm listening to this now:
  6. not really...every song minus 1 or 2 off of The '59 Sound had a bunch of references in them. I just read a few months back in an interview that this record was going to focus more on him and his experiences instead of the more overarching stuff. we shall see though. ps - is the new gayngs track going to be on The Current at midnight? am i understanding that correctly?
  7. i'm digging this too. the first track sounds like The Band a lot. I Like the lead singer's voice.
  8. i know it'd kill their whole "punk" image, but i'd love to see them add a keyboard/piano player. also glad to see he's dropped the song name dropping/references. i think it's cool that he wrote that way for a while, but it's good to see he's moving past it.
  9. I love the ABB. The original lineup is just about unmatched.
  10. I don't realy understand why it just being an EP would somehow detract from it. The songs themselves are some of their best.
  11. damn Wasp Nest > Murder Me Rachael might make cherry tree my favorite release of theirs. i can just pretend that "i don't mind" doesn't exist.
  12. congratulations! ballsy to even look at reviews...i think i'll just ignore them if they ever come my way. again, congratulations!
  13. on a bit of a kick, preparing for High Violet. mhm.
  14. Looking For Astronauts is not a song I would call good.
  15. it just sounded like indie rock. nothing really caught my ear with it.
  16. not only is the song itself good, but it sounds like they've beefed up their live sound a good deal. that's pretty cool. really looking forward to this now.
  17. hey just a heads up for people who care about gayngs..if you pre-order it on 4.20.10 from jagjaguwar, you get an immediate download of it. funtimes.
  18. Tiny Pilot is streaming at Volume One. I think a few people here might enjoy it quite a bit.
  19. That is one of my favorite Dylan releases. A country symphony he had assembled there...especially on Just Like A Woman.
