  1. true. although i've found that Gene Krupa is one of the few guys who i really like hearing solo.
  2. i found it kinda tough the first time. but then again i'd never heard radiohead and just bought that on a whim back in 2002 or 2003 i think. enjoy! (Kid A the song is my favorite off of there).
  3. quite a two weeks. may 4: BSS, BRMC, Josh Ritter, Band of Horses may 11: The National, Gayngs then later that month (i assume the last week of may) is arcade fire. and megafaun has an EP coming out. rosebuds should release and LP this year too. then we have radiohead (i think that was rumored...or confirmed...or something...although didn't they say they're done with the album format?) too.
  4. i'd love to have the ability to have a chair before the show starts and maybe before the encore. that'd just be lovely.
  5. i think wilco is probably my number 1 band, and not going anywhere any time soon. that said, i don't listen to them much these days...lately i've really gotten into a lot of the bands out of the triangle area of s. carolina. megafaun (obviously), rosebuds, bowerbirds, etc.
  6. i need more from these guys asap. luckily, they have an EP due out this year.
  7. my feelings mirror yours pretty much exactly. especially about It Still Moves.
  8. well i think i kind of got the hissing issue under control. i just suck at mixing. horribly. any tips or tricks would be very helpful.
  9. The Midnight Organ Fight - Frightened Rabbit Ambivalence Avenue - Bibio
  10. it's all about Gospel, man. Gospel is the key track off of Boxer.
  11. http://bit.ly/aNqf1k man May 11th is going to be a DAY. National AND Gayngs.
  12. oh very cool. definitely lookin forward to that.
  13. oh ps Megafaun is releasing an EP at some point. super excited.
  14. this is justin + a lot of musicians from the Triangle in north carolina, right? Megafaun, Rosebuds etc?
  15. while i wasn't looking forward to it, i barely got through one listen...
  16. i'm sure it'll leak well before then. i'm excited brian fallon (lead singer/song writer) is going away from the reference-heavy songs he's produced in the past. they're really good songs, but i'm glad he's moving past that.
