Who wants to join my Grateful Dead cover band - The Grateful Dread. We play nothing but Reggae versions of Dead songs.

Finally going to get to see them live. Just got tickets for the 40 Watt in November. They'll blow the roof off that little place.. Can't wait.

This album is probably one of the biggest disappointments of 2013. Some good things going on, but it's pretty much Embryonic but slower and even more dissonant.

I can't hear the audio right now, but that's quite alright..

Love Monomania.. Although many of the songs are so distorted, staticy, that they're hard to listen to. Deerhunter is one of those bands that you love but you can't really put your finger on why.. They're weird, noisy, even corny at times, but just somehow awesome..

Hmm.. To me they are night and day. Dino Jr. is loud, power chord banging, garage rock. Kurt is laid back, atmospheric, stoner rock...

It's not supposed to be great, at least for me. Its fun, it's refreshing, sort of in a novelty type of way. It's porno music from the future. Not to be taken too seriously. Good, playful, nod your head music.

The only song I really don't like is "Touch". Just think they went a little overboard with it...

I respect the guys as musicians enormously (representin' my alma mater of Berklee), but never have been able to get into their music... Have fun though. Hope to go to Red Rocks someday as well.

I have been revisiting some of their earlier material lately.. Holy crap, Cryptograms is amazing on a long, rainy, late night drive...

I can remember listening to the keyboard solo on "Light My Fire" during long car trips with my family as a kid... My sisters complaining the whole time, while I'm smiling, head bobbing... RIP, Ray..

That's really cool. I've been a racing fan my whole life, grew up going to short tracks in the south. Never got to see Dick live but he was by far the best short track racer ever. I'm shocked that he took his own life. He was such a down to earth, good ol' boy...
